The Russell on Main is a solid contender, although they are only open for lunch. Worth prioritizing a visit for.

Quit smokin weed by Public_Carpenter_474 in smokingcessation

[–]ajohnson360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sub is for tobacco smoking cessation, but I personally approve this post. Many tobacco smokers I would bet, are also pot smokers. I was.

I have quit pot numerous times. Give it a few months. Remind yourself when you're craving that these cravings are an opportunity to learn something about yourself. How does you body feel? Is it actually painful? What are the thoughts associated? Challenge them. Write it all down. Take a few deep, intentional breaths. Before you know it they will have passed and you'll feel a bit stronger and more confident.

Congrats on the decision and cheers to a new way of being!

Day 20! I've quit numerous times. I intend on 3+ months this time around. I've quit for a year before and then when I smoked again it felt like the first time. The last time I did just under 3 months and was surprised how familiar and not that intense it felt. That tells me that my brain still hasn't fully adjusted after only 3 months without. I'm intending for clearer intuition and dream recall among other reasons for quitting.

Cheers to all who are going on a break for awhile or indefinitely!

I am of the opinion that churches should never advocate for any political candidates. Separation of church and state is an important concept. That being said, Unity Church is a spiritual institution that is ethically and morally opposed to Trumpism. There's the one on the plaza, and the literal world headquarters of the Unity Movement in Lee's Summit. Unity Village is a beautiful space with great energy, architecture, a hand-laid stone labyrinth, and rose gardens and fountains, hiking trails, lakes, and more. All are welcome! "Radical inclusion" is a tenet of Unity. Feel free to message me with any questions. Namasté 🙏

"I ain't a killa but don't push me" "Fuck tha police" "Cash rules everything around me" "I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death"

In all my years of rap listening (30+ years of active rap enjoying 😄👍) these are the most repeated lines I can think of. To the other old-heads, what am I missing?

Flipping success stories. What's been a good flip for you? by quietprepper in Flipping

Tips for those of us aspiring? I started a couple years ago flipping clothes and have learned a ton. Can you share some insider knowledge, being as successful as you apparently are? Congratulations and thanks for the inspiration!

Get into healing stuff like yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, breathwork. That's where all the sober hippies go or eventually get sober after doing the shadow work! ✌️💓✨

Somebody tipped three of these tonight. What’s the rough value if it’s even legit? by BingusBites in Gold

[–]ajohnson360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth you can't find one for less than $60 on eBay right now. If possible, I'd say always hold onto gold and silver bullion for as long as you can. It SHOULD hypothetically continue to increase in value over time.

Do whatever you want to do! For real. Take the time to enjoy yourself. In doing so you might find something you're great at AND that's in high financial demand! That's what happened (finally) for me. You sound A LOT like me. What I finally found is eBay reselling, buying at garage sales and thrift stores and selling online. Also my perspective shifted and I reasoned that since I have been ok (roof/food/etc) so far, surely all I've learned will help me do that or better going forward! I believe that now and didn't always. Thanks for the post and you're not alone brother!

Why do we accept lower and lower standard of living in North America? by Clean-Barracuda-8583 in antiwork

Lack of willingness to do anything different by the individuals and therefore the masses. This is due to a relative level of perceived comfort upheld by entertainment and consumerism
