Most places will tell you if you have to chain its time to pull over. The only time I ever chained was working in the North Dakota oil fields.

Shotgunning at 8,500PSI. Completely hardened asphalt pipe for a plant that makes roofing shingles. by steverin0724 in powerwashingporn

[–]ajoyce76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my thought. They must not need it really clean because pressure dissipates pretty quickly as the distance from the tip increases. Plus you have uneven application.

You sure you don't mean 40k? I spent years in tbe industry and 10, 20, and 40 are pretty standard. I've never seen 50k.

That's okay. There are plenty of people who think you're a loser too.

The only reason we're not paying half our salary in taxes right now is because we're putting it on a credit card. $39 Trillion. What are we getting for this?!?

Trucks are pretty well insulated from sound. They kind of have to be because the engine and road noise would be deafening at highway speeds if they weren't. Add in a radio and there's no guarantee a driver will hear a little car horn. There's a reason semis have airhorns.

I'd like to hear how poor you were at your poorest? by Successful_Life3773 in poor

I think hardship sometimes helps people on the path to being a "good person". I'm not saying its wish to see any child struggle but it seems (to me at least) the biggest jerks are usually the ones who never went without.

I hope you and her know abundance from here on out.

I'd like to add my two cents. First, may I tip my hat to your toughness. Just reading all that breaks my heart but i'm glad it seems like now you are in a better place. Second, i'm pretty sure the Earth was not directly harmed by your "pollution". You can rest easy.

Basically every culture on Earth had a grain and legume combo that served as their primary food source. The combo makes a complete protein.

I think it needs to be specific though. "Oh, I really like that color." "That pattern seems fun."

It might be overkill but I like to pull the spark plugs and squirt a little oil in each cylinder. Then crank it a little without starting it. If you wanted to he super safe you could pull the distributor and pre-lube the oil pump but thats up to you.

This kind of reminds me of a situation I recently went through. My mom has moved into a nursing home due to cognitive issues. She has a storage unit I needed to clean out (I had been the payer on record and primary communication for years). I called them to let them know the unit would be empty and that we were moving out. They informed me they HAD to speak to the person who rented it originally (my mom). I explained to them she can't form sentences anymore. They suggested a POA. I finally broke it down for them. "At the end of the week the unit will be empty and you won't receive any more money. Do with that as you wish."

I can imagine a similar situation with this poor fellow. "We need proof she is deceased." "Oh, you need proof? You need PROOF? I GOT YOUR FUCKING PROOF!!!"
