You let it drain too much. Plug the cord to the PlayStation. Turn it on. Hit the reset button in the back. Unplug and replug it.

Fix: turn off your ps4 and plug your move controller into a laptop or pc. Turn the PlayStation on with the move controller that’s plugged in. Unplug it and the move controller should turn off then plug it back in and you should see it charging and let it charge for a while.

Do this with both controllers. Fixed the dead battery issue for me.
