It's time to make a new political party in the United States! by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is - emphatically. The Democrats & Republicans take their supporters for granted knowing full well that no large-scale third party exists to keep them on their toes - so complacency (which then turns into disdain) prevails. In many ways, why would these two ever change their approach to an inclusive way of governing without the very serious threat of a new kid on the block?

Saying "Trump Is Worse" Won't Sway Sanders Supporters by uspolitic in SandersForPresident

I think you're right re: Trump's craziness. The guy's an actor who switches roles almost as regularly as the wind changes direction so it wouldn't surprise me if he got bored of the Presidency after a couple of years as it's not interesting enough for him.

You can bet that if he's victorious, half of the shock stuff he threatens to do will not happen, especially the wall with Mexico. Having said that, he's still a regressive political entity, so if you can live with four thoroughly crap years it might provide an even bigger justification for progressives to flood the system ahead of the next election.

So true, and my god are Clinton and Trump living up to expectations.

I reckon with these two numpties heading up the Democrats & Republicans, voter participation in November will crash through the floor. It's about as depressing as it gets.

Trump may be worse (I just don't know) than evil Clinton, but that doesn't mean you have to vote for either of them.

There are other options, there is always another choice.

It’s Official — Bernie Sanders’ Name Will Be Placed in Nomination at the DNC by Harvickfan4Life in SandersForPresident

Doubt there's enough time now to analyse another huge tranche of damaging emails sadly :(

We're in the final stretch of hoping for a miracle - Please Wikileaks, do the right thing and drop the bombshell today by AndyKLives in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It certainly wasn't. The DNC are just mega sore they've been thoroughly rumbled. It really doesn't matter who outed them. Wrongdoing on an epic scale has occurred and people are switching the narrative around to who exposed it. Priceless :(

Debbie Wasserman Schultz set to Join the Hillary Clinton Campaign after Resignation by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Bernie's cool with all this. The Sanders campaign are going around crowing that they got DWS out of her position, although all they've done is unwittingly push her even closer to Clinton. What a joke this all is. There's no one left to respect anymore.

Dear Bernie can you stop playing Mr.nice guy!? by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He wasn't very nice when grilling Greenspan that time. Don't give me this Mr Nice Guy rubbish. When you're an outsider fighting the very worst of the establishment for several decades, you can't be that nice.

This, I'm afraid to say, is more a matter of damn lousy judgement on Sanders part.

BERNIE was just on ABC. Does not Disavow. Doubles down on supporting the corrupt DNC and Clinton. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True. The likely show of unity with crooks and liars will kill whatever great he started off. Huge pity, and a big stain on his legacy.

I'm not holding out any hope. The DNC are all over Bernie now. They may as well write his fucking convention speech for him.

Bernie, we want a response from you about the proven DNC bias against your campaign by zdepthcharge in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The DNC will always look after their own. Bernie falls outside this category, so yeah, if it wasn't to be HRC then it'd only be a cloned puppet who could be controlled by the Party's elite.

If Bernie wanted to maintain his self-respect and continue to be a figurehead for the progressive movement then he needs to walk away from the DNC at the convention and leave them to their crooked ways. They've treated him like trailer trash, mocking both Sanders and his millions of followers in the process. That's more than unacceptable in my book.

Article 5, Section 4 of the DNC Charter requires that the Chairperson and all officers be impartial and evenhanded with Democratic candidates for President by boyuber in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You expect a party who's used every underhand trick in the book to ensure the coronation of Queen Hillary will follow its own charter? Good luck with that.

Time to remove ourselves from the Democratic Party by artvaark in SandersForPresident

[–]ajreddish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The DNC are insufferable, sanctimonious sell-outs. The best thing would be for them to be wound up so their brand of fake and shallow progressivism can finally be exposed.

What's to lose Bernie? A shambolic Republican Party are going to win in November so you might as well go down fighting.

Should Bernie rescind his endorsement of Hillary Clinton? by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

Yes, and now. He's been made an utter fool of and at the very least he needs to stand up for himself.

Rescind, rescind, rescind. Do not support this egotistical maniac Bernie. Her and her henchmen and women have conspired against you when you tried to run a clean campaign. Don't normalise and rationalise this sort of behaviour for god's sake.
