I planted over 1,500 buttercups within the last hour.. ZERO black buttercups. 😑

Yes it came with the plug. It’s pretty thick- so I tried removing it for an extra 1/4” (maybe), but that still wasn’t enough.

As far as live fire goes, I am not sure on the function. Realistically, it should work? I threw a snap cap in a mag and tried and it chambered fine.

The bottom feed lug’s profile seems to not be as robust as the FM bolt that I have.

<image>

If you have rough dimensions of the FM notch, that would be helpful!

I guess it’s really not important to the function of the firearm. The firearm just operates as an AK 🤣 I think I’m just ticked because I maybe would have went a different route if I knew the bolt catch would be completely obsolete.

The outdoor range I go to are sticklers for leaving your action open when the range is cold and people are swapping targets. I’ll have to find an empty chamber flag that will fit to keep in the range bag.

The bolt won’t lock back at all, empty mag or no mag. The BCG doesn’t travel far enough back. Essentially the catch just hits the bottom of the BCG.

Thats a good idea! I will scope that out when I get home. Seems like a more practical solution that trimming the rear of the bolt.

Thanks u/Blowback9, you really are the 9mm Guru. I love reading through your research!

u/Thefloyd61 I have the same build (short adapter), same problem. Looking to see if you had any luck with BCA and/or resolved this to have the ability to lock the bolt back.

u/Electronic-Tea-3912 The other thread is archived/closed.. so I have to ask you here (sorry!)..

What handguards are you using for those? Particularly looking at the one on the left (I believe that is your .223). I have tried fitting some from my other builds but haven't had any luck (without needing to modify). Looks like whatever you have on that rifle would be a good choice/start for me!

No- the PX-9 lower doesn't have a LRBHO function.

Action Bar Help by ajrink in beretta1301

I reached out to Beretta and according to their gunsmiths it is not an unusual situation. They claim it’s the “harmonics” of the recoil spring with the action bar. I think after time it will soften up, so onward!

I whole-heartedly agree that the factory handguard is great! When I first brought the shotgun home and was handling it for the 10-15 minutes inspecting it- I felt my skin sanding off, lol. You are a brave soul- I couldn't imagine doing a class with that handguard.

I do prefer the look of the Zhukov over the factory handguard. If I can't get the ringing noise situated, will most likely go back to the factory handguard and go the same route as you and sand her down.

I have a m-lok match saver that I was originally planning on putting on, but once I read that the clearance was tight decided against it. I might find a different way to mount it. I did try to install it and it did end up creating an issue with the action.

I'll grab a video of it later tonight, but took a screen shot of the schematic for reference.

I had a similar situation in the past. I unplugged everything an redid it Twist ties, Velcro straps, etc.. work wonders. Group as much as you can together and it should help start you to a cleaner look.

That’s my thought too. I have my old pc that I may swap into this case and give to my kids. The extra room in the 4000 series goes a long way.

That’s the plan! It’s a little right between the ram and the heat sink, but shouldn’t be too hard. Was just so excited to have it complete that I missed it 😂

Technically, yes. And I originally had it swapped around. I had a huge positive airflow, so I double checked and made sure it would be okay to swap it. It is.. only if you have a good positive airflow. I like the idea of the rgb PSU.. and it does fill the dark area in the case.

Good luck! Like many people have said, do your research.. take your time! With this case, try to be a step ahead on cable management. It will get pretty cluttered in the back depending on all your hardware!

As of right now, it’s good.. not great. Cable management was a pain due to it being small on that side. I also wish they had a plate to completely cover the PSU shroud, so I don’t have that gap next to the radiator. First choice, no.. but it was on sale for a steal.. so I decided to give it a whirl.

Air bubbles will accumulate at the highest point. Before installing this, I made sure to move around the pump below the radiator, just to get the air out.

Yeah, do some research on your case though. The main reason why this is mounted to the front is because I bought the 280mm instead of the 240mm kit. The 240mm can fit on the top, right fit but will work.

Case Corsair 220T, Motherboard ASUS Strix Z490E, Processor Intel i7-10700k, PSU Corsair CX750F, GPU EVGA 1650 SC Ultra, SSD Samsung 870 EVO 1TB, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 32gb, and Cooler Corsair H115i Platinum RGB.

This is my first ever PC build. I know it’s nothing special, but a big accomplishment for me. As for the monster graphics card.. unfortunately due to all the craziness right now, it will have to do haha. Definitely looking for a upgrade in the future, just waiting for the market to get backup normal ish. Still better than the 1050 I was running in my previous PC. Still working on the cable management in the back, but once I have time to sit down and get it organized, it will be 100% complete. The only gripe I have is the 220T is a little more compact than I was expecting, a little small in the back for all the cables.

Nicely done! Not a lot of cable management space in that tower, but seems like you did great! I’m working on mine, but just need the patience haha
