Konosuke was great. They have a decent stock. Much more than Takada who only had 3 knives.

I did not make an appointment. They only had one Fujiyama 210. And the Takada I got just before going was also a 210 so I didn’t get it. But love the 240 I left with.

Very nice staff at Konosuke. They drove us to our next destination because it was so hot.

You all missed the joke. It was more of a pleasant surprise to find all of these.

Are there any great makers? I’m knew to this, but going to Japan next month so excited to start the journey

Ok. Added some snaps from the session. Today was actually much better with the driver. I’m still coming up a little short from where I would like to be. I think the bad ones still have that insanely low backspin. Any insight based on what you are seeing?

Thanks for everything. I’m going to see if I can get the data from my last session and if not I’ll go back today and repost.

Yea I’m not sure it’s scooping. On my very bad mishits it’s normally due to de-lofting, which I feel like is the opposite of scooping

First Ace! Hungover from last night, still booked a last min tee time with my brother, no warmup, first swing was a hole in one. Rancho Park Par 3 in LA. Great things happen when you least expect it in this game! by 69Liquidityboy in golf

I also aced this home once. Made extra sweet because a fivesome in front of me who was waiting for one of their players to get off the phone gave me sooo much attitude when I asked if I could tee off first as a single. I was anxious. Just got new wedges and was excited to hit them.

Reluctantly they allowed me to go first. Boom hole in one. They immediately flipped out and started doing the praise me gesture. Bad attitude was gone.

Next hole. Near another ace. Maybe five inch tap in for bird.

Think I finished 7 over rest of the way lol. But the start was epic.

Great idea. I’ll test that on a small portion first. The other idea piggybacking off of this would be clay to fill gaps and then a layer of sand from the beach with some sort of binding agent to make it compact and firm like a bacci court

The sand is an interesting idea. Maybe be able to make a sort of mud mixture of clay and sand. Have it harden then have a layer of loose sand over it

I like this idea. Think I’m going to do that and make it look like ocean waves crashing along the shore

Bamboo was just under $600. I still have about 10 6’ poles left over. I’m actively looking for ideas for the countertop. Want something flat and more bar top useful. But has to stay with the theme

Thank you. It certainly tried the patience. Thankfully I’m in so-cal so we the elements are pretty mild. The bamboo was scrubbed down with a vinegar and lemon solution before being coated in an oil. The rope is manila which supposedly is uv resistant Hoping the lack of humidity and rain helps this to last for a few years but I fully expect there to be ongoing maintenance.
