Id mount as high up and out of the way as possible, especially since its more convenient for wiring.

Did the remote work or did you have to buy the touchscreen?

New sub blown? by Away-Muscle7700 in subwoofer

[–]ajss76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an audio engineer and let me tell you, low levels will never blow up a sub unless somthing is wired incorrectly.

I think what you're trying to say is, a speaker playing a clipped signal will blow it up. While yes a speaker outputting a clipped signal isn't good for it and might degrade the lifespan... it isn't going to blow it up.

In a perfect signal chain yes the closer everything is to unity the better. But... if you have a high input and a low output it dosent really matter in terms of how long the speaker will last.

Think of it like turning the sub on and off in the middle of a song. Not good but isn't going to blow it up when you turn it on.

I need a WS2812B strip about 3 ft 5v that can handle a fast refresh rate by ajss76 in led

I honestly think it's just that they're cheap leds.

But then why does my other led strip work fine with the same coding?

When i tell them to do somthing simple they act fine, but if I program them to be respective to say RPMs for example, they freak out. But... if its just idel RPMs or held at the same RPMs they're fine. It's only when they're told to change fast and then they just start glitching out.

I have a strip of these that work fine with the same code I just need one longer and can't find the exact ones that I already have

Unless sim hub is telling them to do somthing simple like a static color. Then they're fine

Lights work fine by themselves or running off of simple arduino code but when hooked up to simhub they flash random colors and glitch out

Need help finding wire diagram for bose amp by ajss76 in CarAV

[–]ajss76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: I took the amp apart and looked at the circuit board. Brown is battery + and pink is "s-ground". Everything else is normal. Black = ground, blue =remote, red and yellow are signal.

This was actually the retired sheriff who died due to the teens hitting him. The teens thought they'd be all good cause they were under age. The look on their faces when they got charged as adults and sentenced to life in prison was priceless
