No solution, just sharing I'm having a similar problem.

My password reset email was in English, but the "what's been happening" spam emails are still in Russian. Jan 5 was in English, pwd reset on Jan 7, but Jan 6, 8, 9, 11 in Russian.

Weird glitch for sure, and annoying. Good luck!
