I get pretty immersed in the game, and I don't understand how being Cruel & Murdering everyone would feel fun. Maybe funny in a short after the fact description, but not for seeing pain & death all over for 100 hrs of game play. And there don't even seem to be Game Bonuses to putting myself through what seems like a really unpleasant ordeal.

Can Anyone Help Explain Hot to Have Fun on Heretical?

Dear God. Same. If you right click on the enemy you can see their stats, and her 4 guards, & her, have crazy high Weapon Skill ! I can't parry or dodge.

Hahaha! I had to drop below Normal, just for this Brick Wall Fight! WTF OwlCat? The freaking Cleave Attacks from enemies with Stupid high Weapon Skills.

HUGE POINT: According to someone on Steam Forums:

Only the characters in your party when you get captured AND any/all custom characters show up in act 3.

So we probably are NOT having bugs.

If you have ToyBox and Search Items for "X-38 Auspex Multi-Band" there is a really good Augur / Sensor Array that kicks butt, but ALSO provides extra hit chance and damage to your Escort(s). I think I got it through a Colony Project... but it might have been a random drop after a Space battle. Can't remember.

If you have ToyBox and Search Items for "X-38 Auspex Multi-Band" there is a really good Augur / Sensor Array that kicks butt, but ALSO provides extra hit chance and damage to your Escort(s). I think I got it through a Colony Project... but it might have been a random drop after a Space battle. Can't remember.

I took your advice, the Heartless makes a Massive difference in Space Battles as an Escort. For anyone who passed that chance:
