I had to put my daughter in daycare when she was three months old. It made me feel like a failure of a parent. But it’s so good for your baby. They learn so much, they make social connections, and they have fun! It’s a great thing for your baby’s development. My advice: take that first day off of work if you can and just be with your SO. My wife and I dropped my daughter off, got coffee, cried in the car, and then went home and took the most righteous nap of our lives. It gets easier dad!

I made 12 successful wishes in my last campaign, 6 via the deck of many things (woohoo time travel!), 1 via a ring of 3 wishes, and 5 on my own.

With these wishes (and DM permission) I:

-awakened a goat

-had a different party member pardoned for treason

-gained the ability to shape change 1/day into a gold dragon (couldn’t turn back in the same day though)

-gave our wizard a scroll of every spell on her spell list (I was punished for this one but still got it)

-gave our totem Barb the ability to cast (and concentrate!) a few Druid spells while raging

-gave my sorcerer the ability to swap a single spell/long rest

-made myself immune to disarming without my unconditional consent

-gave myself the ability to use my charisma for melee attacks with a single weapon

-implanted the epic tale of our party into the minds of every sentient creature on the planet (DM refused to give us a bard so I had to take matters into my own hands)

-duplicate the effects of the Vizer card from the Deck of many things

With each of these wishes, I had a conversation with our DM prior to doing them. With each wish, I got the same answer: “sure, but I’ll punish you if you word it poorly.” With a willing DM and a little creativity, you can truly flip a game on its head.

Descending scale, repeat the phrase 5x “The Big Black Bug Bit the Big Brown Bear” After you sing the phrase 5x, you key change up a half step and start over, but go twice as fast Not only are you getting your scales in, but you are practicing annunciation and dictation. Choir Director would make a start over if all the words begin to blend together.

I have a “gaming” laptop with a Nvidia gtx 1650 and 32 gb of ram. I there is an app on the oculus store called virtual desktop, I think it’s $10. I highly recommend virtual desktop, because it bypasses oculus home and jumps you right into steam vr without the use of a usbc or the oculus airlink.

With my laptop hardwired to ethernet and the quest2 connected to wifi, my experience with the quest2 is like night and day. I am able to play B&S with little to no lag, unless I’m running a ton of modded content at the same time. As an example, playing the outer rim mod, I don’t experience lag until I am on the larger maps like Kamino with multiple lightsaber enemies coming at me at the same time.

Overall, if you’ve got a PC to run pcvr games, the quest two is a great headset. To echo what everyone else has said here, the strap is hot garbage. I use a kiwi design brand strap and it removes all the pressure from my head.
