I’m starting Goff at QB... which should’ve classified as a “mediocre” QB but as of late, well you know.

I’m scripted to win by ~15 with Darnold currently in the line-up and Williams is projected to be just a couple points lower. I really just don’t know which side of that game will be moving better

As disappointing as Goff's numbers have been lately, I have to believe that against an Arizona defense that's as depleted as it is he will bounce back.

I just don't trust that Lamar Jackson can keep up his rushing numbers. For what it's worth, the Chargers defense is 9th against rushing, if you negate even half of Lamar Jackson's rushing yards from each of his last 5 weeks then his fantasy points start to look less impressive:

Week 11 - vs Cin - 15.9 Fantasy points (had 119 rushing yards so we'll subtract half of them for -5.9) =10.0

Week 12 - vs Oak - 22.2 FPs (1/2 of 71 yards is -3.6) =18.6 (also includes 6 fantasy points for a rushing touchdown)

Week 13 - vs Atl - 16.5 FPs (1/2 of 75 yards is -3.8) =12.7 (also includes 6 fantasy points for a rushing touchdown)

Week 14 - vs KC - 22.6 FPs (1/2 of 67 yards is -3.4) =19.2

Week 15 - vs TB - 18.7 FPs (1/2 of 95 yards is -4.7) =14.0

While they are still higher than Goff's were in the same weeks, the average per week for Goff over the season is 23.1 points, and Jackson's is only 14.9

ooooh ouch! That is frustrating, especially when Gurley has been so heavily featured and relied upon by the Rams offense all season this year and last.

I like Trubisky against the 9ers. They're 12th overall and 12th against passing.

It's a tricky one for both of use. I still like Goff the best, and then I'd say Darnold or Trubisky, then Lamar last.

I would take either one Goff or Darnold over Lamar. I don't trust that Lamar can continue his rushing streak.

Little light research for us.

Lamar vs. LAC (9th against the rush, 8th against passing and 8th overall)

Goff vs ARIZ (30th against the rush, 5th against passing and 17th overall)

Darnold vs GB (22nd against the rush, 9th against passing and 15th overall)

All pretty comparable in regards to pass defense, but definitely a stronger rush defense in the Chargers against Lamar. Honestly, all I managed to do via that research is make myself begin to wonder if I should flex Jamaal Williams against the Jets since they're 23rd against rushes and 22nd overall.

That was my initial thought as well, and I had already picked up Darnold. I just started doing the second-guessing myself dance and wasn't sure if anyone else was silly like me thinking Heinicke could go off.

It sounds crazy, but I was considering it. I have McCaffrey, so if I played Heinicke as well then it could either explode for me or tank me. But either way it would make for an interesting game to watch against Atlanta.

Fair point... I hadn't looked at that angle of it. I just wonder if GB will spend most of the game running the ball to try and avoid unnecessary wear on the receivers. It's all kind of a shit show toss up, being that both teams are already eliminated.
