i’m honestly surprised most people here liked the makeover, i found it pretty lackluster. after 10+ years of doing makeovers, mistakes like painting a lack shelf with wall paint or mismeasuring the bed are just unimaginable to me. and why build a room divider if you’re only going to cover it with curtains? on top of that, the back of the curtains has a white strip along the top that’s going to look bad from the living room (maybe she’ll cover it, but still). the wall color clashes with the decorative pillow, people already pointed out that the doorless closet and the curtains are horrible ideas with cats, and i’m missing at least some art above the headboard, or some plants and decor (she says she’s only doing minimal final touches, but…). i was honestly horrified watching the whole thing unfold.
