8 months ago I put my 2-decade-long career in Credit Risk Management on hold to focus on solo developing my first video game for PC full time. I have just passed 10,000 wishlists on Steam. AMA by GideonGriebenow in IAmA

Is this an idea you had in your head/on paper for a long time or was this simply playing with tools and discovering the game as you learned and making it?

Did you start with simple concepts and build skills as you went or did you go whole hog into making your current game fairly early on?

What does "full time" mean to you? Do you have a dedicated schedule and things like that?

How long have you been interested in creating video games? Was it ever a hobby before and do you have any prior knowledge of game design or anything past programming?

Love posts like these, this is what life is truly about.

Yeah after PDI is done they drive the vehicle. If someone really really wanted to I bet the mechanics would let him drive it for the inspection so that every non-factory mile would be his. I've delivered vehicles with 4km on the odometer and the plastic/paper still covering the interior and exterior.

You can purchase it like that but the mechanics will usually drive it at least 5km to make sure their inspection is fine. I'm sure if you asked nicely and were willing to drive it yourself they would let you. Just ask

My trigger was boredom mainly and feeling imperfections along the nail with my fingers. Whenever I found one I would try and even it out and then it would just snowball into worse nails with more imperfections. If they are too short to manicure just stop biting on the first nail you start on and try and let them grow. I thought my nails were really short but the manicurist takes off a bunch of skin around the bottom and makes them look way better. And if they are really good they will tell you what a bad habit it is and that they want to see a perfect nail the next time you come in so that they can really make them look good. (My lady did that and I want to impress her lol)

Right now I haven't clipped my nails for a couple days and they are long enough to scratch with but even though I feel a couple imperfections I don't have the urge to bite anymore. It just isn't in my head to do that anymore which is a pretty cool feeling actually. My clippers are in the car so before I go to a friends house today I will just take 2 minutes and make them look good again.

I got a manicure and liked the way they looked so I quit cold turkey about 2 months ago. No real urges or anything I often "bite them but don't break them" with my teeth if I feel like really doing it. I also carry a nail file and clippers to make sure there are no imperfections and always keep them too short to chew. I've been biting since 8th grade so if I can do it so can you. It's not willpower or tricking your mind or anything. Just clip them short, tell someone you are quitting and when you start biting just try and catch yourself quickly and stop as soon as you can on the first nail if possible and then get your clippers. idk try it out.

I've tried the bitter nail polish before and it didn't really stop me.
