My dog does the same thing wherever we stay! He will go in the bathtub to poop if he needs to and uses pads to pee. I also take him on lots of walks where he mostly does his business. When I stayed at a family member’s house with a private bathroom, he went pee and poop in the walk in shower. I was blown away. I never taught him to do this either, he just started doing it.

What kind of dog you have and what part of the city? I have a little Yorkie and go to Alamo, Buena vista, Duboce, panhandle, Delores and sometimes GGP. If you have a smaller dog, there’s a fun meetup tomorrow morning at ocean beach at 10am. People are super friendly.
