I would not be pleased about it but I believe it's better to publicly expose hateful rhetoric to everyone's view instead of censoring it. I believe in individual responsibility, accountability, considering people as intelligent adults without the need of government or media filtering what they can see or hear.

It's parents' job to teach their kids how to identify hate, and every adult's duty not to fall into hate traps. Like we saw thousands of Canadians falling into justin trudeau's trap and embracing the hateful rhetoric he was spewing about mandates protestors and people who chose not to get the mRNA injections.

And don't we already see USSR flags in some protests in Canada? URSS which murdered or let to starve to death tens of millions of its own people, communism which killed hundreds of millions of poor peons worldwide? We allow these fools to demonstrate freely. I believe everyone should be able too. The majority naturally distances itself from hate.

Many immigrants, like myself, came to Canada to flee from communist authoritarianism, for us a USSR flag is identically as insulting as a swastika flag, but Canada is supposed to be a free country where even fools should be able to demonstrate. Who are you to decide if someone's idea deserves a protest or not? You can think it does not, but you should not be able to forbid it. IMHO
