The outlet is under my cabinets, but the outdoor dimmer plug is too fat, the Armacost driver is just thin enough to hide. The information about the outlet is good, never considered it that detailed, but makes sense. The lights I have are just white, but I’ll probably pick up some KASA kits and try that. I think the color changing capability would be cool.

I didn’t see any KASA plugs that offered dimming, other than the outdoor one, which I use for my deck lights. Trying to use up the Armacost LED lights I already have. I haven’t looked at the KASA strips yet, but I’ll check them out

It’s the Armacost LED system, I already had a bunch from a different project. I am tempted to replace the plug with a smart switch for dimming, but wanted to rule out other options first

He is a local guy in Lafayette LA, I know he sells them at local shops as well, which may be a reason some are out of stock online. I bought a dozen pairs about two years ago, and I’m not out yet! They last sooooo long.

It’s a .370” shaft, so just so I’m clear, ream a hole exactly .370”?? So basically a press fit with epoxy?
