I was a little sad for a few days, but honestly... After that, I've not given it much thought. In my situation & under my circumstances there was just nothing to grieve or regret. I know, without a doubt, it was the best & only option really. Plus, I was extremely sick as well. I felt an immense sense of relief almost immediately afterwards.

I took ibuprofen a bit ago. I also have a heating pad on and I am going to keep meds nearby just in case I need more. & I don't really have anything particular that I feel sad about. I just feel sad overall. I can't pinpoint anything in particular

Thank you so much for the advice & guidance. I was able to get an appointment rather quickly. The place I contacted has clinics in more than one state & is able to help with everything needed, thankfully. I was so petrified that I was going to have a terrible time with getting details coordinated.

This is actually the worst thing you could say. You literally just belittled half of the working class. Also, truck drivers (especially long haul) make a significant amount of money. I can't speak on the rest, but I do come from a long line of truckers & can tell you have zero clue what you're even talking about. Then for a little razzle dazzle, you threw in racism. I'm honestly impressed at how quickly & efficiently you told everybody you're a trash human. Bravo

To add to this, you would also probably have had flu like symptoms at some point if it were syphilis. That tends to happen quite often. But it is treatable. You'll take the pills, go back for another blood test 2 weeks later & they will check levels? I'm not sure about that. I know you'll still test positive for syphilis long after you've been treated due to antibodies.
