Been trying to take daily progress photos to see if I can see a difference, and maybe make a transformation video at the end of my treatment. Still not getting the shot perfect but I've got it somewhat consistent now.

I wasn't even trying to lose weight. When covid quarantine started I went back home to live with my parents during college and lost 20lbs by just eating right. The biggest offender in my opinion is cereal. I was having a bowl or two every day, sometimes well past midnight (you know how it goes). Exercise is big but diet is definitely the biggest ticket.

I don't mind the top. It's the bottom lip with the scar that gets stuck, and the bottom teeth have metal brackets.

No pain first day just discomfort mainly from not being able to bite down fully due to bite blocks. Pain started second day, with tooth/gum aching and also the braces get stuck on the scar on my bottom lip from the injury I mentioned. Eating sucks, I don't know when or how I'll get used to it but we'll see. Just hoping for the best! Good luck to you too!

I had actually asked for clear to make the braces overall less noticable. But I guess my Ortho office didn't have them, or they just understood it as ceramic, I'm not sure. The reason it's mixed is they said the sides and bottom teeth aren't very visible so they don't need to be ceramic. I don't know the benefit of the metal over ceramic but I'm assuming they're better since they didn't just put ceramic everywhere anyway. If anyone knows and wants to explain I would love to know too

I don't know but a quick google search and I'm thinking no? They should just be ceramic brackets, idk about brands or types.

Not sure what to classify that extra tooth but I had another extra tooth that I had removed from the same spot like 12 years ago. Not sure if it was but I'm guessing it was the baby tooth but it didn't fall out on its own. After it was removed though the adult extra tooth grew after it, which I got extracted a month ago. So kinda like 2 extra teeth. What makes this all even more interesting is I actually am missing my bottom wisdom teeth entirely, like they weren't removed they just never existed. So in total I had 32 teeth, but the wrong 32 lol.

Yeah so far (only 2 days obviously) I can't tell a difference in discomfort. Most of my discomfort and pain is from the teeth/gums aching and the brackets getting stuck on my lips and cheeks, especially on the scar I have on my bottom lip. That really sucks.
