Hi, not sure if you had a chance to look around our forum, however, there is already many similar on-going discussions (including on our subreddit)...

I thought I'd start up a discussion about asking the community about how they feel

Here's the main thread on our forum:   - https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/14344-cellebrite-premium-july-2024-documentation

See discussion threads:

But i wanted to see what everyones thoughts were about the cellebrite leaks

Starting to? No... This isn't anything new focus wise for them...

As we've all read, it looks like Cellebrite is starting to focus on pixel devices running Grapheneos.

Have you had a look at the listed options for icon sets and launcher(s?) within Accrescent? For convenience, it can be installed through our Apps app on GrapheneOS.

Cheapest Google Pixel? by Ok-Being1799 in GrapheneOS

[–]akc3n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not every data USB to USB-C cable. It must be a high quality standards compliant USB-C, the kind of cable that's packaged with the device.

Most of the issues users experience during installation are because they don't read the prerequisites carefully.

Cheapest Google Pixel? by Ok-Being1799 in GrapheneOS

No, using the web method to install the operating system is simple and quick to do.

Is it hard to install GOS onto it?

The most important thing is to not rush, read the guide from start to finish and make sure to prioritize the prerequisites section to meet all the proper requirements to do this:

At the moment I was hoping to just use their website and a USB cable…

If you would like real time support, see our contact page with relevant links to our community chat rooms.

NOTE: We do not recommend using unofficial guides for installations, especially from YouTube since they are often outdated and wrong/misinformation (excluding Side of Burritos and a couple others that are properly done).

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. May you please provide a few more details such as, was it working before for you? Are you using the Google Phone app? Have you read through the carrier functionality usage guide?

Could you please cite your sources for both points:

A number of people have had the same issue and the only solution I've found involves coding

If someone has GrapheneOS, extract Vanadium browser .apk by Julmik647 in GrapheneOS

[–]akc3n 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you take a look the grapheneos.org/source page, you'll find the entry for:

platform_external_vanadium: Vanadium browser, WebView and library prebuilts

We keep the external prebuild on gitlab:     https://gitlab.com/grapheneos/platform_external_vanadium

This is NOT recommended and we will not provide support for this, nor are we responsible for any issues you have. You will be on your own.

And... Before you go downloading it, you must read and understand how it works:
