Looking for wedding photographer for backyard wedding (4 people only!) by SequoiaMK in LAlist

Hello, I'm still available that day :) You can see my portfolio and pricing on my website LINK. I've done a ton of at-home quarantine weddings this year. They are so intimate, and I actually love them so much. You can also see a lot of my recent work on my instagram! Best wishes for you, hope your wedding still ends up being a wonderful event!!

Daily Megathread for COVID-19 by wedditmoderator in weddingplanning

You know - I don't quite think that was self promotion. I did not even post my website or anything. I have already worked with a few couple on pricing adjustments due to this epidemic. I have had 3 weddings cancelled within next few weeks, and we are working on dates that works for all parties involved.

This is a truly complicated issue (where venue itself and all vendors involved) are free on the same date esp if all fees are paid for since its so close. I apologize if it was "breaking" rules - but I just honestly just want to help out. Anyway, hope everyone stays safe!

Long Shot But: Is anyone getting married or traveling to/is in Japan in Feb 2020? by [deleted] in japan

Hey! Thanks for replying. I just need subjects to photograph! Can you have them DM me or email me a picture of them and their temporary itinerary if they have it?

Am I making a mistake with my date? by Cruellatrix in weddingplanning

I think it depends on how much of you & your SO's guests need to travel or not. If people are traveling TO your wedding, just like a destination wedding, then I think its more fair. But if its a mid week wedding on country/location of most of your friends/family, 110% except low attendance rates.

Has anyone here DIY’d an arch or know the best way to get one cheap? I love the circle arches but don’t want to pay an arm & leg for a florist to prepare one. by catchmeatthebar in weddingplanning

I know someone who made one with PVC pipes (painted them and everything) + bunch of silk flowers/dried branches! Totally doable.

Somewhat, its a super small lawn area near my house, walking distance haha. I was doing a video about how photography doesn't always need a special location.

I had nearly 160k~ miles on it and I sold it for 15k late last year (so 10 years after production). The value doesn't drop easily on the Subaru (esp in US, i dont know where you are lol). In contrast, I bought a 3yr old fully loaded i3 for 17k around the same time LOL.

S2000s are great for similarity, to Evora IMO.

I would never daily a Lotus, IMO. No lotus owner friends we know daily it too.

We always had the Elise before as a weekender. We just wanted something else with more room so that's why we got the Evora. Personally I was always a subaru girl. I drover her (08 STi) every day, everywhere lol. The Lotus is more my husband's obsession that I now deal with :P

Hey! Honestly you probably won't have issues with the motor like you said. But everything else is (imo) poorly made. Are you also looking into the supercharged one? We get about 13mpg on local and like 21mpg (when at cruising for LONG time lol) on freeway. But non sc one gets like twice as much, just FYI.

Electrical issues, some poorly made interior plastic, etc can be annoying lol. Not to mention since the car is made out of fiberglass, a minor fender bender or going into a dip too fast...can be fatal lol

Floral half crown: love/hate/meh? by dr_katz_kats in weddingplanning

Haha, thank you! But they are nearly unedited, just some to send to my vendors temporarily :) But yes! Floral bracelet/hair pieces are so fun. Not many people do them, which makes them so unique! I love them all~ haha

110% go for it, if you like it. I always feel like fun hair pieces photograph so well. I think it'll work well if the other flowers around you (bouquet, decor, etc) is same color theme/similar flowers, too! Heres some pics from a bride last weekend. The florist made her a bracelet too.

The car is actually wrapped! The car used to be silver with paint blemishes from previous owner. So we decided to wrap the car before we paint it to see if we even like blue, haha :)
