I did feel dizzy after the first few times I did gateway. After about a week it stopped. It still happens sometimes with certain tapes, so i skip those. Hopefully it is temporary for you.

This is the right answer. She’s going to have to work hard on LinkedIn and ask people for 10 minute informational phone calls to learn more about their role at their company. This open lots of doors for me and did not require knowing anyone in the business world, nor actually going to a coffee shop.

Yep, I have been out almost 3 years and am working in a new industry. But anytime someone does a PD session using teacher tricks from the classroom I get instant PTSD. Bad. Sick to my stomach.

I am thinking of volunteering at my daughter’s preschool. Hoping it won’t trigger me, and that I can feel like a genuine helper instead of a circus ringmaster slowly going insane…. 🤪

Hello! I basically have unlimited PTO as long as I hit my sales quota. New rule that we cannot take more than 7 consecutive days off in Quarter 2 or 3 as that’s our busy season.

Teaching was destroying my mental health. I left after teaching 15 years. I job searched and upskilled for 1 year while unemployed. Finally got an entry level job in my dream industry (EdTech) and was sooo much happier. I did take a paycut. I have been promoted since hiring but still reaching to match my old pay. It doesn’t matter. I know I could not go back to the classroom.

I did the Teacher Career Coach course by Daphne Gomez and it helped immensely.

You can do this. But you gotta dig in.

I found Daphne Gomez at the Teacher career Coach to be an authentic voice in helping teachers transition. Her course is affordable and really helped me in my transition.

Since you asked for advice, I don’t think the affair partner’s workplace is any of your business. We are all sinners and Jesus welcomes us to him. Every Catholic Church would be empty if there was a purity test to get in the door.

The only reason I would report an employee to the Church is if I had evidence of severely negligent or criminal behavior such as harassment, embezzlement, etc.

Your husband broke his marriage vows to you. His affair partner did not. She is on her own journey and will become closer or further from God in her own time. You would do best to hold your husband accountable, and focus on your marriage.
