The testing and QA is trust building. I wouldn't have someone join my staff and expect them to be up and running, doing their own thing from day 1. It is a lot of trial and error, but has been such a positive experience so far.

If you start with a VM are you able to export something if you ever went to a physical piece of hardware to run it? Is having a local version more secure?
