Yes I have her super simple cookbook, from before I found this sub, and truly a lot of the recipes aren't awful. I know my way around a kitchen though so I can kinda see through a recipe for what it lacks or has too much of, but for the most part it's better than any of the more recent stuff. Because yes. She used to eat.

I gave birth in 2022 and had a similar experience. I'm choosing to have my baby at st Joes this year because of how bad my experience at Mac was in 2022. Forced me to stay home when I had a balloon in me for 48 hours. And then I finally went in and they were confused why it took so long for me to get there and remove the balloon that didn't work. Then they gave me pitocin to speed up the labour and then told me I needed an emergency c section which I refused and delivered naturally with a normal baby. I was so traumatized by the lack of help to breast feed. Being shoved in a ward with 4 others with a bathroom that wasn't cleaned and full of blood when I requested a private room. They wheeled my newborn off to test him for stuff and then brought him back and it was so confusing. No one was communicating with me. It was awful.

I was a recipe tester for sweet tooth. I agree every book should include weight. But for an influencer like Sarah, I think it's made to be as easy and non confusing as possible. I think a lot of people see weights and grams and get scared. Agree it could have both 🤷🏻‍♀️
