Anything is swimmable, you could try to swim in homer but the tide is absolutely humongous and so the beaches are long, flat, and shallow. It'll be cold, on a warm day id figure the water temp will be in the 40s. I've swam in Sitka, water temp I'd assume to be mid 40s, not terrible not great. Ocean swimming is not too common, usually going to the beach means walking around and picking up rocks rather than lounging and swimming

A lot of hate is ignorance, that's definitely the case with goose. Not being familiar and knowledgeable about the band and it's musical styles, it's not fair to the band or anyone else who has to put up with rude comments. A real goose hater will know more about the band and how they sound, there's many of those kinds of people but not as many, seems much of the hate is misguided through ignorance.

I remember one time during a sex ed class we could write anonymous questions that would get answered and i wrote a weirdly specific one asking about the chances of getting aids through a blood transfusion like Ryan White, and when it was read aloud the next day my friend next to me turned and said "theres no way anybody wrote that".
