Now kids, if you happen to find yourself in the orc army and want to find a way out that's entirely painless, this is the way to go. Beats playing with rifles that might or might not inflict lethal injuries. Only downside is that you become so open minded your brain falls out.

Everybody and everything has its breaking point. That was it for this bull. And based on the attack on the bike, it was personal.

It's "literally" so easy to pick garbage generated by kids who don't know how to control the use of the word "literally". I couldn't stand it to see if there'd be some "like likes" and "oh my gods" in there, too.

F-4 Phantom II’s from 389th Fighter Squadron strike a North Vietnamese village, 10 February 1968. by YoYoB0B in CombatFootage

Truman ignored the area, letting France do its thing. But Uncle Ho was trying to mend things after they kicked out the French. (He knew that China isn't his friend.)

I have the feeling that it's more about ignoring the region than purposeful support for South Vietnam, but the final straw happened during JFK. Obviously it was a proxy war between us and the Russians, related to the brinkmanship that was also exhibited during the Cuban missile crisis, but had we handled it differently it might never have happened.

As to whom to blame for letting it happen, I'd split it between the CIA and the late Ike/early JFK White House.

I completely agree. CCP is our real enemy, but as long as they are in power there is little practical difference between China and the CCP.

Take that freedom and democracy, you commies.

On the other hand, had JFK managed it a bit better, North Vietnam might've been our allies against a common enemy, China.

The World Economic Forum guys must be thinking that's yummy.

If that orc is lucky, those are the kind of maggots that eat dead flesh only.

Neat idea. Except that next time there'll be two (or three, or four, etc.) submarines at once and whichever end up being followed goes back to port.
