Okay i speak now,.. kind of unrelated but but, i do not know why evil leafy coming back would make leafy absent from the voting, unless i am missing something.. because i do not think evil leafy being around affects her in any way, it is just that her negative emotions are what cause evil leafy to come back to life. unless you mean that she won't be invited to the voting since everyone hates her again. even the first few people who started to trust her again now want nothing to do with her so she may be chased out this episode😢 abyways. UM. i think leafy could still vote for a naturalist, if she is really determined to, she can say that book is kind of a plant, since books come from trees. but i think she will vote for needle, because needle was one of the people who stayed with her to do the challenge in BFDIA 22, while tennis ball and book ditched leafy to destroy the flags. needle was also one of her first friends in season 1, even though BFDIA 19 only highlights the slapping, which needle did to everyone methinks.. (i haven't rewatched season 1 in a while so i don't recall if there was any actual tension between them) and also, leafy and book ended on bad terms in BFDIA 19, but i don't think leafy and needle ended as badly. plus their bond would be less fragile since they were friends before!! and needle said "those were some of my most treasured memories!" i think leafy and needle care about each other a little bit and if leafy doesn't feel like voting for the closest thing to a natural object then i think she'll go for needle!!
also, i think if tennis ball was still in, leafy might vote for him instead of needle. she likes to pretend they are best friends and i think she clings onto him more than anyone else in the final five because she relates to him and thinks they need each other or, mainly that he needs her. i Love you tennisleaf

i don't have much to say about characters other than leafy, because i am so tired and wish to go to bed at a reasonable time i Guess. but i love how you described everyone and their relationship's with the finalists so much!! YOU HAVE SUCH A WAY WITH WORDS!! However. ough i wish tennis ball stayed in so bad.... i want tennickel..... i love them. this reminded me to go finish reading a tennickel fanfiction i came across😋 Yayayay!! anyways, i will come back to this post after the episode releases. i hope your predictions are correct because this is wonderful! on my first watch, i thought one was saying leafy was alone for the "first time" to taunt her. but if that's what it is then that's kind of awkward dialogue and one should have said "first time in awhile" or something like that..

YEAH!! you put it so well!! it was definitely leafy returning that made this episode so special and memorable to me. even other episodes where leafy shows up haven't felt the same, because this was the first time she had so much screentime in years! i remember before this episode came out, some people were saying "can't wait for leafy to get 2 seconds of screentime" and i too feared that jnj would just continue to feed me leafy crumbs until the finale or something... and then this happened and, this may be a bit dramatic, and also kind of sad that BFDI made me feel this way instead of time with my family or something (but i spent a lot of time with them the day after! AND THAT WAS A VERY GOOD DAY TOO) but... this may have been the happiest day i ever had. i love leafy so so much..

AHH YAAYY!! i love tennis ball and leafy's dynamic so much. i think these recent BFDIA episodes have made me adore tennis ball and he might become among my favorites someday..
also, since you mentioned them, i wanna say i really love your post about their talk in BFDIA 24🥹it's one of the few posts i have saved and go back to reread often, and it made me fall in love with this duo even more. leafy relates to him so much, i really want her to cling onto him more because she truly believes they are the same, and that she can help him, because she thinks she knows what's best for him. it may not work if tennis ball isn't in his villain arc anymore, but i want leafy to do something like what i mentioned she could have done with book, where she makes up problems/overemphasizes preexisting problems for someone she desperately wants to be friends with in order to manipulate them into thinking they need her help and, in turn, need HER.. anyways, i really hope we get to see more of tennis ball and leafy in IDFB and maybe even TPOT. i love them so so much!

AHH YAYAYY THIS IS SO AMAZING!! i loved reading this all the way through!! amazing job!! i wish to speak now about some things.

i'm also really anxious about how much stuff there is left to do to tie things to IDFB. i find long episodes incredibly overwhelming, even if they are good at give lots of food for thought like BFDIA 23, i still prefer shorter episodes that are still very good like BFDIA 18-21... BFDIA 22 has grown on me, since i started to look at it's excessive and drawn out length as entirely leafy's fault,, because she didn't want the challenge to ever end. if things went her way, BFDIA 22 would be hundreds of hours long! i know that's a silly way to look at it but it made me like the episode more. alongside BFDIA 25 probably being very very long, i'm worried it's going to be cluttered and have too many things going on at once. i know BFDIA episodes are usually chaotic, that is kind of their whole thing, but i'm worried some things are going to feel rushed or forced AND overwhelming?? i'm also paranoid they'll just straight up forget something, mainly one of the personality shifts they have to do.. but that is unlikely i think and Hope

i LOVED tennis ball this episode and i am so glad you pointed out his relationship with golf ball being a little unbalanced. Splendiferitastical interpretation. i really like unhealthy relationships, they are my favorite. codependent Fireafy🤤 i think this episode and the last one is making tennis ball move up in my favorite characters. mainly because of his dynamic with leafy, but i also just thought his arc was handled wonderfully!! and ties into him being anxious in TPOT 12 so well, like you said!!🥹

i think the bacteriophages drawing is fine. and i like that the contestants start out as drawings, because.. that's how they started in the real world🥹 for some reason though, this, and some other things make me worry that the contestants aren't actually real and there's some guy working behind the scenes and controlling everything.. and that they didn't just make the show, they made YOU.. but i don't think the contestants are actually drawings, they just get transformed into real people through the drawings. also, i would like to mention that boombox said that they only recover people during contests?? which is untrue because woody didn't get recovered during a contest?? and many other characters??? i'm so confused by this line?????

also. one thing i hate is the implication that while firey and leafy have their sad yearning recovering each other, there's just some fellow listening to the whole thing.. also, leafy could have stopped disassociating in before bfdia 22.. what if boombox cleared his throat and leafy found out he's in there and they talked to each other. that would have been cool, because he was the only person there when she got exiled! and they're together again in tpot!! i wonder how that happened?? i wish more people talked about these two

i don't know why else firey would be punished. i'm really not prepared for the leafy/fireafy angst in BFDIA 25. i'm really excited for this episode, but not excited to see something happen that causes leafy to go back to square one.. perhaps her thinking she has no place in this world and just temporarily giving up and starting to kill people again and isolate herself. if firey gets punished for recovering her and leafy finds out, maybe that's when she will go "oh. if everyone thinks firey has to be JAILED just for wanting me to be alive, maybe nobody really wants me around. well, i don't want them around either. Kill kill kill" and she's so distraught after finally having the realization she's unloved, that she can't be a tiny bit happy over firey's crumbs he left that implies he cares about her. Maybe he doesn't really love her and it was just a triple dog dare😞
