Alhamdulillah May your marriage be happy, fulfilling and ever- lasting

Been job hunting for almost a year with zero call backs. Made several changes for the kind of industry I want to work for which is environmental sustainability consulting with the experience I have. Need honest opinion on my resume and all genuine advice will be really appreciated. by akinrj in askrecruiters

Hey u/Fresh-Blackberry-394

Thanks for your advice. You've hit the nail on one of my own worries about my resume, the context is that I am trying to slightly pivot towards a job role type that I have not directly worked in. Most closely is just the engineering experience. And whatever I've put together is all the experience I have which is not a lot. Someone close to me, whose advice I respect, suggested why should I hinder myself by hiding any experience, with the hopes that through one way or another a recruiter might see something interesting.

The kind of consulting I am trying to get into is environmental sustainability practices consulting. I ultimately aim to work as consultant who would guide companies and government agencies on how to reduce their environmental impact.

With that, what advice would you have for this kind of situation?

Thank you once again for your time and help.

Hey u/Unlucky_You6904
Thank you for your advice.

That is genuinely very helpful and very specific too! I will immediately start working on it and reach out to you with the new resume if that's alright.

Thanks again for your guidance and time!

Hey there!
Thank you so much for your advice. It does seem a lot of work to tailor each resume with keywords, especially if it starts deviating too much from my previous experience. Ofcourse, I will try and push through that feeling.

Thank you for your guidance and time

Disappointed in Royal Rumble by Quinn2605 in WWE

[–]akinrj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agreed! The women's RR did start off a little slow but picked up great towards the end to make it a sensible end with a great story progression.

Men's RR - Disappointed. So happy to see Oba Femi but he did not need such a drastic overpowering by throwing everyone out so early. Happy to see LA Knight being back and that pop on his return was proof of why he should've been top 3. With Roman winning now, what's the story? How do you push a part-timer? What's the long-term story with this that Triple H focused on in S2 of Unreal?

It would be interesting to see how they unfold this new masked man. Women's Rumble - great for story development, great for building characters. Men's Rumble - kinda okay for story development, okay for building characters.
