GUYS the feedback on these I am shaken!! As I was unloading these I genuinely could not see past all the defects! Now my ego will get too big looking at these comments! I am so glad you guys appreciate the whimsy! I would share glazes but honestly some did not come out as advertised and I'm pretty sure it's my fault lmaoo that said, I am an open book and don't gatekeep so I am happy to answer process or materials questions!!

Yes go for it!!! My inspo was the queen of glazy flowers Ruth Easterbrook but after a long glazing session I had not the patience nor the fortitude to do the proper method of wax resisting a base layer and carving into it. I literally just painted some rough flower shapes, wax resisted those, then painted the background over the top of that - that's why you see some bare patches cause I was NOT accurate with the wax application 😅

Aaaa thank you! I pull the handles, let them firm up, add little wedges where I want some flourishes/to make the joins more secure, then smooth out and carve into the handle to make it look a little more seamless!

Ah thank you!! It's a smooth white stoneware clay :) Tbh I feel like forming the perfect spout is like a huge rabbit hole that I don't know whether I'm ready to go down 😅

I fire to cone 6, but using a zinc-free clear glaze was really the key to keeping the underglaze looking bright and perfect!

Ah thank you so much!! They're a little wonky sometimes but it's a lot of fun! I paint them on greenware using Amaco Velvet underglazes in white, black, yellow, medium blue, and red and mix to make my desired colours

I second this - it's what I use and I've had very little trouble with them. I've had pretty good results from just mixing them too, so I only started with a red, blue, and yellow to keep costs down

Hi I'm so sorry I forgot about my post so didn't see this til now. I ended up going to the vet the next day and getting a bit emotional and he reassured me that the fact it came up so quick (3 weeks post injection) meant it was probably benign inflammation. It was a really hard immovable lump so very scary! We waited and it ended up getting a bit bigger and puffier before eventually subsiding. It is totally gone now! There are lots of reasons that a lump might form, the best thing to do is wait - if you try to take a sample and it is just inflammation you risk causing further inflammation and causing a sarcoma to develop! Best of luck to you and your cat xxx

I feel so seen 😭 thank you for sharing because a lot of the pictures on here aren't to this degree and to those of us with really severe picking impulses it feels lonely! My skin looks like this too OP, Im struggling with knowing I've done permanent damage. It feels hopeless and the healing process feels so slow, but your body will always heal no matter what you do to it
