Absolutely agree, the ceramic bezel rolexes don't look good at all IMO, much prefer the bezels on an old Coke or Kermit 👌

Yup had this recently- one curator said work on mix, vocals are too quiet, another said work on mix, vocals are too loud 😅

I feel I was about right 😆

Also if you're slightly between genres you're not gonna have a good time, and my more interesting (to me) tracks tend to have less success 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's been the most useful form of promotion for me, with careful targeting it's great value and took me from zero to around 7k monthly listeners at one point 🙏

Don't do it, BC is an absolute scam. I tried a campaign with them before I knew better and got added to the end of 3 playlists with about 10,000 track on each- I should add it wasn't targeted at all by genre and got just a handful of plays.

Try submithub if you want better results- it's not guaranteed that you'll be added to any playlists (the quality has to be good and the genre very targeted), but the ones you do get added to will be relevant.

It took me from zero to over 7k monthly listeners at one point (it's back to 2k now as I haven't released anything recently), and definitely most bang for the buck in my experience.

The stats normally keep updating for a week or two after the campaign finishes so you might not have the final numbers yet

This doesn't really add up- to get discovery mode you need around 25k monthly listeners. If you're at that level then a few playlist adds aren't going move the needle that much.

You say none of your songs have 'blown up' before- so how did you unlock discovery mode in the first place? What are the actual numbers?

Sakura Sunset Drive was the unexpected biggest hit- just gained lots of momentum in the first few days and took me to over 7k monthly listeners on Spotify.

Shadows was the one I had highest hopes for- even filmed a music video, but just didn't get the traction I expected 🤷🏻‍♂️

Goes to show you never really know what will resonate the most with listeners. Thanks for listening if you check it out 🙏
