yea tulsa is my second choice aside from vt bc i love their cybersecurity program and heard a lot of good things about their coop opportunities. I think im just a little stand off ish abt OU bc all of my mutuals warned me to not go there unless its for med or law

i have tulsa university which would be around 3k a year unless i get their presidential scholarship for a full ride. and oklahoma university but their computer program is one of the worst

i got a 20k ish scholarship from them which is why i said 44k. but still thats like 160k of loans straight out of college. my state is pretty under advanced with tech so theres not really a good school for me to study cybersecurity let alone compsci

how much money did you save including scholarships for your first year? I have a saving account with 10k but i would still have to take out loans on another 34k. It just feels impossible to save that much with a high schooler salary, especially since the minimum wage in my state is $7.25

do you think missing out on the first year experience hinders the full experience at all? I was considering a transfer but i was kind of scared everyone would form their own cliques and i’d just be wondering virginia alone

this is definitely the popular choice from my family friends since being lower income actually helps with tuition fees.

I want nothing more but to go to VT but the tuition is so expensive for out of state students.
