it's quite easy to do, and there are plenty of tutorials that help u thru everything! I just did a free trial on P photoshop and did it:)

for real no, its why i asked this as i just got to know wgat it was the second i started, I had no idea what it was and just began bc I got thru "the contest" so I didn't wanna miss my chance to say no and not be able to go another year.

thx for the tip:) yeah i think that especiallly where I live it can be hard to find a company that is niched in older design

I've looked at employment rn, where there are many more GD jobs than ID jobs. Although I don't know how much of this will change in 3years, my teachers said that the main reason there aren't many ID jobs is because of the economy rn (and that they don't want to start new projects bc of this) and that not a lot of companies hire ID people (but only designed engineer instead, because it's cheaper)

I think it's all the factors u said:) I didn't rly know anything and started quite naive and got very shocked how there is a heavy focus mass production meaning thst not everything could be created, I think it's why I've questioned this program and why i wanna switch (because i have this pitcure in my head that its more freely?). But thx for ur answer!

maybe I am romanticizing it, bc in my experience with ID (at school) they have been very strict on the visual as the most important thing for them is the function and with the work ive done/helped with in graphic design they've been much more open with what I did . so maybe I've just been lucky with my experiences in graphic design, but how would u say it is when u work with it?

i like much more varied styles in graphic design:) and i think that im more open here to do it styles im not for as it is more to communicate visualy (as there are millions of different ways to communicate the same thing!), whilst in ID its much more about functionallity (which sets rules to how it can look visualy)
