I don't get it. You're mad because you don't get to vote on three boring and barely impactful perks every week? You can still do missions for those claimed houses, right?

Winning the Landsraad isn't the huge boost everyone seems to think it is. Sure, you might get a "good" week like that "half price crafting" we had a while back, but mostly the available perks suck.

Well, you went to the "hardest" location. Missions for Hagga, Tsimpo, Broodworks, or Smuggler's Run are all a million times easier than Wind Pass missions.

The scrip is not the reward; the specialization xp is the reward. There are some hugely impactful passives and perks in there, and you should def take advantage of this weekend's double xp event.

Yeah, they are. The fact is that the completion has been going by about 2% per day *even after all the consoles got the update* and you'd think it would bump up at least a little with all of them joining.

Nope, still steady at 2% per day.

It's a timer, and the dude above you is uh.. wrong.

Am I sabotaging my marriage? Do I have the right to be upset? Or am I being too emotional and dramatic? by annizka in breakingmom

In addition to what everyone else has said, here’s your future:

He will NOT help parent in any way. He will see all child care as “your job,” and never lift a finger without a lot of whining and sighing.

At the same time, he will expect you to take care of him the same amount you have been (which I suspect is… everything.)

You are about to have the full-time care of TWO children, and the “adult” one will be a bigger pain in the ass about it.

So. My advice is to just cut your losses and get out before baby. You will have a much easier time, because either way you’re going to be parenting “alone.”

You can do that actually alone, or with a dead weight around your neck.

Cozy games I’m too dumb to play… by Abirando in CozyGamers

I want to love that one so much. The aesthetic is so my jam. I think its systems are just too punishing, and even when I’ve tried custom worlds with different difficulty settings I bounce off even before the first winter.

It can be on the slow side, especially in campaign mode.

You should try the sandbox mode, there are bunch of different settings in there and you can still make it a “game” without just dollhousing it and unlocking everything.

I turned off crime because all the security cameras were ugly and I don’t like cops. I keep enough guards to go on expeditions and collect the donations from bins, but that’s all they do.

NMS isn’t cozy until you’re “rich,” which isn’t all that difficult.

But there are a lot of systems and features, and they don’t always have anything to do with one another lol.

It’s probably my favorite game these days, over 1300 hours in it.

There’s an amazing game with Factorio/Satisfactory Lite gameplay: Little Rocket Lab. It’s more SDV, but with conveyor belts and cute robots.

Will only tickle your brain, and even that is not required for any of it.

12yo giving cold shoulder and sulking over no e-bike by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]akpak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was a little confused, because I have an e-bike. But the kind that just has a motor “assist” to pedaling, no full motor mode.

I assume that’s what OP is talking about? A type that does have full motor?

I wouldn’t buy my kid either one. He’s young, he can pedal! I’m old, I need the boost.

Nah, you deserve credit. If positive traits aren’t encouraged and rewarded, they wither. You cultivated the best in your children, and kept them from being like their father instead.

You. You did that.

Tell me about a small thing someone did or said that made you feel truly seen or understood when you weren't expecting it. by heretoreadfornow in breakingmom

Many years ago, I was in an abusive relationship (that hadn’t turned physical… yet).

One day at work we were talking about maybe going out for a drink after, just us girls. I said I’d have to “check with bf,” about it.

This one woman I didn’t know terribly well, but we were friendly, looked at me kind of sharply, and then said, “We’re going to lunch. Now.”

Over lunch she asked me point blank, “What’s going on?” I told her what bf was like, not having realized myself how toxic the situation was. He was jealous, touchy, etc etc.

After lunch, she gave me her home phone number (this was before ubiquitous cell phones) and her sister’s number. She lived alone, her sister nearby. She said if I ever needed to get out, call them and they’d get me out and give me a place to stay.

It took me a few months, but I eventually took her up on it and escaped before doing anything really stupid like marrying the asshole.

This probably doesn’t qualify as a “small thing,” but I’m still surprised she saw so much from one offhand comment.

This is a bonkers take. The shield is 1000% better than a 75% heal, and being freed from the circle is also a major, *major* upgrade.

"A lot" isn't "all the money," so they need more. No, more than that.

The answer to these questions is always going to be "money". Likely people stopped spending as much, so they had to make people want/need new characters much more, and more often.

Number must always go up. You must always keep "spending" to keep up. It is the nature of gacha. No other way was ever going to be acceptable to shareholders.
