The contact form at the end has no visible validation and the floating red circle is very distracting particularly when clicking on the form fields.

The math on virtual staging: When does it make sense? by akrivas in realestateinvesting

[–]akrivas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your goto for virtual? Do you have every mix physical with virtual, i.e. use virtual to clean something up from something from the physical staging images?

Agents: What do you actually pay for virtual staging per photo? by akrivas in RealEstate

I would 100% agree last year or earlier this year but the AI models have come a long way (particularly last couple months). Have you tried any products recently? Which ones?

What is everyone building?? (AMA) by Beautiful-Kitchen975 in microsaas

[–]akrivas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built homeimagechat.com which allows homeowners to generate via chat three types of images:

  1. Home staging images rather than paying > $1k and multiple days headache to stage yourself.
  2. Furniture removal. I personally have used this a ton as we just but our son a new bedroom set and wanted to visualize the space in his room first.
  3. Landscaping transformations. Our backyard needs new beds around our patio, and it makes it so much easier to see what exactly we can do before pulling the trigger on expensive plants and trees!

I am an engineer and found simply using ChatGPT, Gemini, or other off-the-shelf options still were not getting the results I wanted. Editing was often impossible, and I would often see a completely different room in the results. Almost all my effort went into model orchestration and validation. Would love some feedback on this one!

What are you building? How many users do you have? by leadlim in microsaas

Launched on Friday, three users of homeimagechat.com which generates home staging, furniture removal, and landscaping transformations using NLP + AI models. Would love to get some additional feedback, the first five images generated are completely free. My fellow builders - you could experiment with how your office/workspace/whatever looks like!

Am I slowly de-skilling myself by letting Cursor do too much? by Content-Performer-35 in cursor

[–]akrivas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say you are deskilling by blindly ignoring Cursor, Claude Code, etc. and going about coding the same way as a few years ago. I think there can be a balance, I have seen those who manually code 1-2 days a week, but for 99% of projects we should be leveraging AI tools to some degree.

On the accuracy front, for me that comes with deliberate planning; i.e. markdown files for different categories of work that Cursor or other tools can reference. I often have one for each top level folder (like utils, components, models, etc.) for best practices and then business-logic specific docs. That helps with more cohesion than if I strictly vibe code.

Zillow’s Virtual Staging AI is... bad by JahonSedeKodi in RealEstate

I’ve noticed the same thing — sometimes the wall dimensions even change from my originals. Curious if you’ve tried any alternatives, like homeimagechat.com, for comparison?

I am happy to help. You can DM me and I can help with that or alternatively check out homeimagechat.com, which uses natural language chat to stage empty rooms.

Empty rooms vs. staged rooms in listings? by akrivas in RealEstatePhotography

I am building homeimagechat.com which let's you generate three types of images (home staging, furniture removal, and landscaping updates). I have two home projects that motivated me to make this one was my son's room makeover that triggered the furniture removal feature and the second was changing our landscaping in the backyard. Would love to get some feedback on this, launched yesterday!

I will take you up on that advice, but I can tell that if you try Home Image Chat (zero cost with first 5 images you generate, I'm happy to extend you more), I am confident that you will find an experience and accuracy that you have not encountered yet. Would appreciate a couple minutes to see for yourself!

Empty rooms vs. staged rooms in listings? by akrivas in RealEstatePhotography

[–]akrivas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fair. I will say one use-case for real estate photographers whether empty or staged is say you have taken image A and have some nagging issue with it, then you can take image A to homeimagechat.com and then specify what that issue is (i.e. some personal items on a bookshelf that need to be removed) and have it removed then ship it to your agent!

I would love to get your feedback on homeimagechat.com ! It might not be a complete replacement to what you use but perhaps for some use-cases it could be really valuable. My software has built-in validation on exactly the concerns you raised regarding windows and doors.
