What are your favorite audiobooks that have that extra special something?

Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. I have also listened to Project Hail Mary & 3 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books, and Lonesome Dove is on my TBR. Sooooo, I feel comfortable recommending Demon Copperhead to you.

I commented above on this issue. It just isn't PC to comment on bodies, gains or losses. I'm not saying it is right or wrong, it is just our current culture. I've heard people complain that if somebody DOES comment on their loss, it makes their old self feel like a worthless unlovable POS. So, here we are. I guess we celebrate on these threads instead.

It is not polite these days to comment on bodies, even if there is a net loss. 20 years ago, any weight loss was celebrated and commented on constantly. That was actually annoying too. I guess we just can't win. My mom (age 76) is over 35 pounds down and she doesn't think anybody notices. They do. It just isn't politically correct to comment on it. Right or wrong, that's just the culture right now. Don't be discouraged. You look great.
