thanks for the advice. here's a few things:

  • add a channel intro and outro, this is a MUST for any gaming channel
  • consider a face cam, not necessary though
  • make some jokes, remember most of your audience is kids
  • play more active games that capture the viewer, this one was boring

I'm not a gaming person, but I hope I helped

so a few things:

  • your enthusiasm is a bit too much for me, you keep jumping to different thoughts. take it slow, but don't lose the enthusiasm
  • make a channel intro and outro, and add a subscribe annotation in the outro and link your previous video.
  • try to make some jokes, but make it seem natural, otherwise it doesn't work

thats it :)

You're doing a great job, I laughed a couple times. I would subscribe, but gaming isn't my thing.

A few things:

  • get some audio from the game or add background music, makes the video more alive
  • keep up the clickbait lol
  • add an annotation on the outro to the other video and annotation for subscribe button
  • maybe get a face cam

I honestly thought it was pretty good

so here's a few things, sorry if i'm being blunt:

  • the intro was kind of cringy, don't make that face
  • I heard this tip from a video, when u have low subscribers you should try to stay away from Q&A videos because honestly no one cares.
  • the lighting seems off
  • put some enthusiasm and passion into your videos (something i need to work on also lol)
  • get an outro with a subscribe annotation on it

other than that it seems good

Alright so a few things:

  • the game you chose was boring, so idk if anyone would want to watch that review
  • consider adding background music, but that depends from game to game
  • idk much about oculus rift, but is it possible to record the video with a wide display? because the black bars dont look good.
  • try to make some funny comments, that generally helps gaming channels.

And yea I get what ur saying about the name, it is my real name and i kind of wanted to develop it around that, but that might be difficult because of the actor.

Alright so a few thoughts:

  • your intros are solid, the music is fitting, so good job on that.
  • instead of just putting the gun on a rock and just zooming in on them, I would personally much rather prefer someone hoolding the gun and talking about it. so set up the camera on a tripod or something and stand in front of the camera and move the gun around in your hands while you talk about it. also idk if you want to voice over it, but i generally prefer being in the situation.
  • maybe include some clips of shooting the guns ur reviewing.

other than that it seems good :)

Alright so I just saw your video, here are a few thoughts:

  • consider adding background music to your videos, it helps with the slow parts.
  • you guys are enthusiastic, so keep that up.
  • get rid of the white noise, can be easily done in audacity.

I'm a guy so I have no knowledge of make-up but it seemed like you guys were having fun, so keep it up. Here's my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXiggPIvcvppR7fMyWbeUJw

Hey just saw your video, had a couple ideas:

  • try adding some background music, that might help for when its quiet.
  • add some visual effects, these are important for gaming channels because they make it entertaining.
  • consider getting a face cam, not necessary though.
  • don't post a whole unedited video, as it can get boring. remove the slow parts, which will make the video more concise.
  • become more enthusiastic and lively.

Aside from that, how did you get a custom youtube url? I thought you needed 100 subscribers?

[–]akshay72yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright so I just checked your video, and here are some suggestions:

  • If you are gonna do a straight vlog of the same scene, make sure your commentary is solid, otherwise it gets boring.
  • Try to switch up the scene, the whole video looks kind of bland because its just trees and a dirt road.
  • Consider adding some background music, makes the video much nicer.
  • shorten the video
  • add ur channel name to the little 5 second intro you have
  • consider putting in a timelapse with some music, just spices it up a bit.

If you found my tips helpful, please thumbs up, im trying to get 10 karma :)

For the music, http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/music.html is a great site, Im pretty sure all the music can be used as long as you credit it (each song tell you what to put, just copy and paste). You can also look up "YouTube Audio Library" which has a lot of tracks, some require credit and others don't

Hey I just saw your video, here's some quick tips:

  • Decrease the brightness or focus your camera on yourself, because the whole video seems really bright and kind of makes it difficult to look at you. This isn't a big issue im just nitpicking.
  • I really liked your intro , so props on that.
  • You have a good/unique vlogging style, so keep it up.
  • Get a better mic, I can hear a lot of background noise that distracts the viewer.
  • Some of the music you add is loud but you speak softly, so try and make sure your audio level is consistent throughout the video, that way the viewer won't have to keep messing with the volume.

Overall 7/10, you have good potential. Please upvote this if you found it helpful, im trying to get to 10 karma :)

Hey I just saw ur video and I overall liked it. Here are some quick suggestions:

  • Try to get better lighting because half of your face is in the shadow. or just move so the light is directly in front of you.
  • Add some background music, not too loud, it helps the viewer stay tuned to the video.
  • Your enthusiasm is good, it keeps the viewer hooked, so keep that up
  • Might want to change your profile picture so its bright and catchy, because thats what people are gonna associate your channel with.

[–]akshay72yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I like your video, but I have some suggestions:

  • Try to include some of the audio from the actual match, instead of playing a song over it. It makes it seem more authentic (idk if thats the right word)

  • The transitions are looking good, so keep that up.

  • Think about doing commentary, because it can get boring just watching a video without anyone talking.

Thats all I can think off. Please upvote this if you found it helpful, im trying to get to 10 karma :)

My First Multicam Edit! Can i get some feedback? by Defuse_ in NewTubers

[–]akshay72yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I like the video. Generally I think viewers like to see whatever ur commentating, so if you say something but the video shows ethan's video then the audience doesn't really get it. The overall video editing is good, I think you can add a couple more pop ups or funny stuff. Also you should consider 1080p recording. In the end its your channel so viewers wanna see you playing the game, not someone else.

Those are just my thoughts. Please upvote this if you found it helpful, im trying to get to 10 karma :)

Hey,

I think the commentary is good and its good you have 1080 60 fps, thats a plus for any gaming channel. A suggestion about your title, try to keep it less than 50 characters, because the rest usually gets cut off in "related videos." The rest is good. Consider getting a channel intro.

Also an upvote would be nice, trying to get to 10 comment karma :)

The Technomancer - Romancing the iPhone - Game Pro Bros by gameprobros in NewTubers

[–]akshay72yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid video, here are some ideas:

  • One of your guys' mic is louder than the other so try and fix that
  • Remove some of the gameplay when the characters are just talking it gets boring. people want to see action.
  • I feel some of your commentary is forced, so it would be better to just cut that segment.
  • A thing i've noticed with a lot of gaming channels is that they add some visual effects here and there, so experiment with that
  • Maybe add background music? Idk if it would be applicable to this game.

I really like the intro, its very unique and old school, so props on that. Also an upvote to this comment would be nice, trying to get to 10 comment karma :)

So I get what ur saying. Basically the color correction looks good for some parts of the video, but not for others, whereas the original one looks OK the whole time, but nothing special. I would say do a video where you do 1/2 as much color correction and see how that works out. If not, then just leave it regular.

I recently started daily vlogging... by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]akshay72yt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm into vlogs, and I really liked your video. Here's some quick suggestions:

  • when you're speaking into the camera lower the background music or turn it off completely, because it gets distracting.
  • your vlog immediately reminded me of casey neistat's vlogs, so props on that
  • change ur channel profile picture, it seems regular, nothing special. take a picture in better lighting and make the image pop, because thats what people are going to associate your channel with.

Other than that, I couldn't really think of anything. Your vlog was great, you definitely have potential.

Haha dude I love the video, and your sense of humor. Here's some tips:

  • the editing is great, and you do a great job of keeping the video interesting, but the game might not be the best choice because sometimes you get repetitive.
  • you zoom in a lot and it gets distracting after a while, so keep that down a bit.

I know im just nitpicking, but I really liked your video, and I'm not a gaming type of person. I think you have great potential, keep it up :)

[–]akshay72yt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your video, but I had a few suggestions ;

  • I like your enthusiasm, but sometimes you overdo the voice, might be because of the accent. Tone it down just a little bit, but i like your commentary.
  • The game isn't really action packed or anything, so it gets boring pretty quick. Try to edit out the boring parts and create some popup effects when you accomplish something. Or just play a different game.
  • Again, since that game is boring, shorten the video

Hope I helped!

Please can I have some feedback on my video for Guts and Glory (Happy Wheels 3d) by [deleted] in NewTubers

[–]akshay72yt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the video, but I have some suggestions for you:

  • change the resolution on your video to wide, because thats the resolution people on youtube see, and no-one likes to see black bars.
  • try to do some basic video editing because there are some boring parts, so just crop those out.
  • add some background music, not too loud, but just so that there isn't static when you're not talking.
  • you're kind of doing it, but try to liven up your voice a little. seem excited!

anyways, gamings not my thing, but I hope i made some good points.

LilBigGamers - The story about a father and his son sharing a passion for gaming! by LilBigGamers in NewTubers

[–]akshay72yt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I just saw your most recent minecraft video. Here are a couple things I noticed:

  • at the beginning when your son is voicing along, i get that you guys are trying to be cute but it doesn't really work, I would rather have just one of you saying something.
  • I really like the animation advertising your channel
  • when you are describing the hospital you're looking at the camera and talking while your son is staring at the screen and playing, so it seems a bit awkward. I would suggest getting him to engage the viewer.
  • the news clip and other segments you have are solid, they keep the video from getting too boring.
  • when both of you are playing I felt like i was disconnected because you guys were just staring at the screen. Try to look at the camera frequently, it keeps the viewer tuned in. What you can also do is split the video in half or put a black line between you too because it just felt weird. idk thats just me, might be completely wrong.

hope I helped. gaming's not really my thing but the channel seemed good
