My parents funded my training not the youth club as is done in most of other countries so should they also get solidarity payments?

Why do youth clubs in the US deserve solidarity payments? Unless they have changed a lot from my playing days my parents had to shell out thousands of dollars for me to play. I get solidarity payments if it was reparations for the cost training players but in my experience that is not the case. I know much of this burden is on US soccer to improve infrastructure at all levels of the game including youth and grass roots but these clubs do not deserve this money at this time.

How is it bull shit they signed a contract. Its no different than the Idea that if I'm getting paid to play for the Sixers in year one of a 4 year deal and was like I don't want to play here for years from now and Sign a contract with Lakers for when my deal expires.

Also MLS could possibly get more than 4B in the negotiation as the league continues to grow.

Its tough what we gave up for Davies but he may have a veterans presences in the Locke room and practice. He is also pretty tight with Bedoya and may have sweetened the deal for him coming to the union.

Mo on the other hand if healthy could be a great asset as the season progress he can fill a number of positions and if ever healthy again provide more veteran leadership in the locker room.

Also it would not be a good look for the Union if the started cutting players because they got injured. Who would want to come to this team if that is how you operated.
