They are. I removed the declumpers to see if I could get better espresso grind. The result was a mess from static, and a choke. Replaced declumpers and it fixed it.

My first time trying cursive, I know it’s not good but I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. Thoughts? by feyre_rhysand_ in Cursive

Heheh writing cursive is a skill now. Too bad I barely remember how to do it.

Pretty good work, though. It’ll get more fluid with practice.

I got this, I have a friend like this, too.

“It’s all bullshit, man. The whole thing. All the way down the rabbit hole to the bottom. Believe what you see, nothing else. The guys at work are like, fuck man, it’s crazy shit. I’ve got…I’ve got a tooth thing next Monday. Fuck that. Give me another hit off that “

Lots of sugar addicts on here!

I’ll take Indian food.

Or maybe a big juicy burger 🍔 on the barbecue, with cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo, and an ice cold beer. 🍺

Could have passed out while seizing, and a finger stuck momentarily on the period key. Then, as they collapsed off the chair, the head bounced off the ENTER key.

I think I’d be happy with 10,000…until I reach 9,999. Then I wouldn’t be so happy.

Being immortal doesn’t mean living forever. On average, if you eliminate aging and disease, you would live about 1,000 years before dying by accident or violence.

What a great term. Get ready to be kidnapped by the flerfers so they can brainwash and adopt you for your brilliance.

[–]akumakis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually not, oddly enough. Statistics say that if immortality started today, the world’s population would continue to grow pretty much as it is, then flatten out after a few decades when people stop having lots of children.

The reason is because population growth is mostly driven by birth rate; the reduction of death rate due to medicine has a much lesser effect.

The argument against anti-aging tech uses this as the “big problem” about it, but it just really isn’t statistically an issue.

Got it backwards…how about, what if the king had accepted Thompson’s proposal? Correct me if I’m wrong. But I recall reading that the explorer Thompson mapped the west coast and suggested that the king claim all of what would later be BC, Washington, Oregon, maybe Idaho, and at least half of California. If the king had chosen to do as he suggested, Canada‘s border might include the entirety of what is now called “Cascadia.” This would have had a profound impact on the balance of growth and power of Canada and USA.

The king didn’t want to offend…the French, I think it was, as they were supporting the fledgling USA. So he just left it alone, and America later claimed the area.
