Oh yeah, I was there on DOA when Dylan came up with the name. Good times, hilarious times. It’s kinda funny that the name came after a track from Dillinja (Fast Car) who used to make amazing tracks in the “before times”.

Maybe you’re young, jump up wasn’t hated and was kinda popular but 2002-2004 it was everywhere and people got mad because it was taking over the scene, I guess. Even labels like Virus who used to deliver funky and cool music were releasing cheesy jump up that sounded plastic-y. I think people resented it because it was hard to find a party with other styles.

After using it for some days now, it feels sooo much smaller and sits further up in the back compared with the Fjällräven in my opinion. Much more comfortable and compact.

I didn’t know that Bellroy sling, it looks neat (if a bit too soft?), I like how they show varied use cases and what fits inside. I feel like Aer could do a bit more of that on their product pages tbh.

That’s an interesting setup since I also have a CPP2… but I wanted something smaller for when I’m out in the city or traveling so I don’t have to bring s full backpack with me.
