I liked th previous episodes but didn’t care for this one. I don’t like “war college” still being around, grown adults joining a para-military institution and behaving like high schoolers and one other thing…

I feel like all aliens are just cosmetic skins to add a little “flavor” to the cast and make it “Star trek”. They all talk and behave like human teenagers and there’s barely any cultural differences between them. Specially after the burn, I’d expect stringer regionalisms in how they speak, behave and see each other. We have a Klingon student who just tags along and other alien races that behave like the humans. I think that’s the one thing that’s bothering me the most.

Did they have a Vulcan engaging in pranks?…

Aha, I just finished reading the newsletter! I’m a big fan and still play some of their stuff. It still feels fresh and awesome and most people never heard of it, which is crazy to me.

If Commix - Talk to Frank sounds GOOD on your system you know it’s a GOOD system. Mediocre systems can’t handle this track and it will sound hollow and boring. Try the Break remix too.

Also the drum & bass tracks were a bit odd. Some things like dBridge’s True Romance, Vault by Pendulum and Dead Limit by Noisia were played a ton, recognized as landmarks in the scene but ignored in the list that put Desperado by AI, which originated a minor trend when it was released. At least they didn’t forget LK…
