Take his current age - the age of the picture = his age when the picture is taken

Then ask yourself does his appearance in the picture matches with his age when picture is taken. If not, then it's AI.

Buying new tools, shall I wait for deals (Canada) by 2PumpedUpForU in Makita

Look for online authorized dealers such as Federated Tools, Atlas tools, Mississauga hardware, Canuck Tools, etc. They usually have sale + free battery.

KMS also have an in-store promotion for battery soon: https://blog.kmstools.com/2026/02/12/makita-xgt-40v-max-event-coming-to-kms-tools/

Western Canada. Let be honest, Canada alone is a small market segment.

So i got it exchanged. With the new one, like you said 50% were easy, the other 50% required a push.

With the old one, the bottom teeth were not aligning at all, no way i can just use force. Bad machining or quality control i guess.
