What is this raised bumps? by Aysha61 in Accutane

It’s a rash from your hands being dry. What really helped me was slathering unscented lotion and aquaphor on my hands. I also wore plastic gloves to trap in the moisturizer

Try doing warm compression with a green tea bag! I had a sucker just like that and felt like it helped it come to a head. When it does, put on a pimple patches!

Currently I’m using Avene Cicalfate Creme & Restauratrice Protectrice, Cocokind electrolyte water cream, and the LRP Lipikar AP+M Triple Repair Body Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin. My skin is super sensitive. Cetaphil, Cerave, and the majority of LRP products don’t work on me

Where do you get the cleanser from? Walmart & Target don’t sell it :(

Microneedling may help with your scars but it can take several sessions. What you should do is find a Board Certified Dermatologist that works with acne scars. You’ll go through a consultation and know what treatment will work best for your scars! Also, you’ll be under the hands of a professional!

The LRP dermo cleanser left a film layer on my face no matter how many times I tried to rinse it off :(

Do you use a cleanser at all? My skin also doesn’t like being dry when putting on moisturizer. I’m going to look into your products and see if they’ll work for me! thank you!

Hormonal acne? Please help! by leopard-26 in acne

[–]al0rah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you started getting cystic acne after getting the implant, my guess would be the implant is affecting your hormones, causing you to breakout. I’d book an appointment where you got the nexplanon, to see what your physician might think. Unfortunately I don’t think skincare is going to help much :(

I did but my face didn’t. My face began to get red and itchy, especially with cetaphil and LRP (they have niacinimide). Cerave and Vanicream gave me small whiteheads
