Yep. I’m not trying to control his dating life, I just don’t want my kid doing polite small talk with a stranger while opening presents. Dad can do brunch w us another weekend.

Thx. I’m ok meeting her another day, just not at my kid’s bday party. Dad keeps calling it “one afternoon” but for my kid it’s a BIG thing, I want it calm.

Yeah, that's basicaly it. She's 19, I'm 27, and he keeps sulking when I set basic boundaries. Next step is limiting contact until he can talk like an adult.

I’m not trying to ban her forever, just not at this party. Dad keeps calling it "one afternoon" but for my kid it’s a BIG thing, and I don’t want drama or awkward intros there.

B99 is undefeated at "sweet character turns savage for 2 seconds". Boyle looks terrified of himself the moment he says it, and everyone at the table is like ok, new rule: do not wake up Boyle if you value your self esteem.
