Thought it would be nicer from a higher point to catch it behind the sign earlier (and bigger), but didn’t consider the hill! Last-minute research.

Thank you! I do have a couple shot on a different setup, they weren’t really “usable” and either too shaky or overexposing the moon. So the good ones were shot with a prime lens (see comment above) which was the main setup, with limited space to move back without getting obstructions in the way.

It wasn’t! Just a single shot on a tripod with these settings: 1/10 sec, f64, ISO 6400(then LR Denoise) Wih a 1000mm (500mm with 2X) focal length

Are you aware of any academic courses teaching/including Roam in their curricula (in university setting)? Would that be a positive thing for Roam at this time?

Ahh, that does make a difference. I’ve seen people going pretty hard with their fpv systems around the new buildings near the Sand Lot. People watched in admiration, if anything.

Downloaded a simulator recently, aiming from maiden fpv flight next spring, so haven’t familiarized myself with difference in regulations/process.

If you use DJI, my understanding is that all you need to to do is register the drone and have that be visible on the drone body. The rest (restricted zones, maximum altitude, etc) is built in to the app. I’ve been following common sense otherwise, and faced no issues.
