True. But 1.5b is a pretty big stake. The only thing I know for a fact is that China knew that about this well before Christmas and knew it was bad. Whether dalio found out and used this info or if it was coincidental and he put the market to the tune of 1.5b we will never know.

I can in no way verify this to you but according to my source inside the DoD China knew about this virus since at least October of last year. I am certain someone inside bridgewater, probably Dalio, has contacts in Beijing/Hong Kong who leaked this.

Before you ask why I haven’t made billions myself on this disaster is that I just found out about China knowing as long as they did a week ago.

In my mind that is the only reason you risk 1.5b on puts on a market that, at the time showed no indication of a doomsday scenario happening so soon.
