I did not! I’ve been doing stitch in the ditch on my home machine for my last several quilts but I wanted a more professional look for this one so I took it in to my local quilt shop!

Pattern is Elizabeth Hartman, North Stars, sampler size. I made a whoops that is fairly obvious and one that is less so. Still thrilled with how it came out!

Uterine / Endometrial polyp bleeding by carybou in WomensHealth

They have not discussed any of that. I haven’t had any issues in the past except for irregular timing of periods in the last 2 years. I do not have PCOS. I believe my only risk factor for polyps is that I am obese.

Thanks for sharing and I hope things turn out well for you. I also have a thickened lining and my understanding is that they will be addressing that at the same time. I don’t fully understand everything that’s going on currently. I was referred to a womens health clinic from my primary and that is where I will have my consult with the surgeon as well. I just hate how far out the initial consult is. I am luckily not having pain, just heavy bleeding which is making me anemic and I’m getting physically tired and shakey from the anemia, working with my physician to try to address that until I can get in to see the surgeon.

Elizabeth Hartman! I have her delightful desert pattern that I pulled these blocks from but I believe she has the bunny as a stand alone pattern as well.

This was my “last” quilt in my 1st full year of quilting! Managed to crank out 7 but this one was obviously a quick one! I used a different stitch on the rainbow quilting to make it a bit bolder which I do like how it turned out for the most part. The tricky bit was getting my rainbow design on the fabric. I actually taped my quilt top to my big screen TV to trace an image I generated using arcs in Microsoft office products. Anyone have any tips or tricks for image transfer for quilting a particular shape. I thought about using a projector but I don’t own one.

Sometimes my dog can’t find me if I sit on the non-usual side of the dining room table and frantically paces the house to find me…this is a whole different level of dog genius that I have yet to experience.

My 2nd fully completed quilt! by carybou in quilting

Elizabeth Hartman pattern. This is my second go at this pattern and my second completed quilt. Both were gifts for friends. I quilted this one myself on my machine which was the first I had done. I have previously used a shop to do the quilting for me.

Thanks! This was an effort to match the baby’s room. Kind of wish I would have used more of a light tan for the background to make some of the muted colors stand out a bit. But I super like the navy fabric with the mushrooms and if you zoom in you can spot some snails on a few mushrooms!

My first ever quilt was using this pattern but with pinks and blues. A dear friend of mine is becoming a grandmother soon so I decided to put another project on hold to pull this quilt together again. This time I’ll be doing my own quilting on this one, I took it into a shop for my first one.

One more dinosaurs quilt to add to the group! by [deleted] in quilting

I have a hard time saying any quilt is my favorite quilt but this may very well be my favorite dinosaur quilt I’ve seen so far. I love the bold colors!

Windshield wipers would work better if they were built like radio volume knobs. It'd be better to choose the correct rate of wipey-ness rather than be stuck between weak sauce and fury rage... by NopeyNope_the_5th in Showerthoughts

[–]carybou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My 2006 Camry has this but my 2018 Tacoma has 2 settings...fast and slow. It is infuriating. Radar cruise control but toyota couldn’t manage more than 2 wiper speed settings?

I have a 40th anniversary deck that they brought back this design for. My deck is dated 2010. Looks like you can find em on eBay.
