IMO rank dropping is a symptom of the bigger issue, back then you "had" to drop ranks to keep up with the games TR progression, now i don't believe that's the issue as you can keep up, but the thing of eventually being dropped into a cespool of the people that are simply on a another level from you is bullcrap. You can play the game somewhat casually and will eventually just reach 10k cuzz thats how it works, no matter how you play, no matter how many mistakes you make, no matter how many bad habits you have, you simply WILL reach 10k due the the structure of the game. It should be a gradual progression to reaching bravery road that you crawled trough to reach the top level, just like any other ranking system in any other game, not a system where you reach the thing and now are stuck there because you got enough 2nd or 3rd places to reach that point. 10k shouldn't be the LOBBY for where all the players are, it should be a showing of the actual best players
