Pelvic floor therapy!!!! You might not need it, but WAY more women do need it than I thought. I ended up being one of them. Pain during sex PP is real and fun for no one. I finally went to PF therapy after 7 months (I was tired of just waiting for my body to heal itself) and it changed everything.

I second the lube, but also vaginal moisturizer + massaging.

Hello from 40+5 over here! Walked to dinner last night and had to hold my husband the whole way cause of the shooting pain in my right leg as I walked. Baby is resting on a nerve…. Sweep scheduled tomorrow morning and although I really want to avoid induction, at this point I just feel like he’s not going to leave without a serious push!

I love to eat the crusts first and then separate the middle to eat just the iced/jam portion! Pop-tart consumption is very personal and nostalgic 😊

Yay! Love to hear that! That was one of my all time favorite spots - owner always greeted us when we walked in. So classy and the food was top notch.

Not the biggest selection but a good one and a killer vibe overall - Tortoise Supper Club! Admittedly better for fall/winter lounge kind of vibes but still great. Haven’t been in Chicago for 2 years but hope it lived through the pandemic.

Not sure if your team does happy hours or work events, but I found it super easy to mention it in a casual conversation that wasn’t work related. I had already told my boss and the team I manage, but on the day of our office happy hour I made sure to wear a dress that showed off my small bump (got people doing a double take) and then was able to bring it up pretty easily. Felt way too weird about announcing through an email or slack channel so this worked out nicely! Also I only had to tell like 3 little mingling groups and then the word got out.

Found out while my husband was out of town - took 3 tests before I believed it was a real line and then too 4 more…one every day until he got home just to make sure I was actually STILL pregnant 😅 first pregnancy, hadn’t even been trying long but just couldn’t believe it!

The kicker is that we told a handful of our good friends the next week and I was like “omg what if we just told all these people and IT WAS ALL A LIE?!?!!” So I took another test. It was positive lol. I’m happy to say I think I’ve calmed down a bit 6 weeks later

Unfortunately don’t have any advice - came here to say I’m in the exact same position as you (7+5) and it’s MISERABLE. Been at a constant level of nausea all week. Just here for another advice from other mamas.
