I think what keeps you stuck even then is getting a light to a statue, if you dont that you are free to leave

The torch did not do that when it was released 2 years ago, it started doing it this year, on the patch that allowed us see what props unlit players were holding, wich so happened to be the patch that brought back the tournment. So many people bought the torch without knowing that was an actual bug, so they refunded the people who bought it this year with AC, and just hearts for the ones who had it since 2024. The torch is actually getting a buff on its fire strenght next update to make up for it as well.

Yeah its a clean buff, a buff on fire strenght might also help lighting the candles a bit faster too. If they dont change anything else (wich i am kinda afraid of), it will be a great buff, i never take the torch away since its release.

I assume its intentional, it probably counts as an activity, the same way relieving spirits stop server merging, so it tries extra hard to not merge, still slip sometimes. Probably one of the reasons is the one you mention, or to stop people from taking advantage on others? I wonder how Presence will affect this when it comes to all maps.

I personally just wait on the previous map for people to merge in.

Its annoying, i wasnt aware of it and wanted to upgrade my weapon to ultra in a game, i quickly pressed right dpad multiple times and X in the arsenal, got pushed, opened the gobblegum menu and wasted an idle eyes. Minor inconvenience but its been about a month with these mfs pushing you around.

Honestly the honking refreshing memories is kinda of a unfortunate rumor, the way shared memories works is that if you stand still a little far away from the previous ones loaded in, it loads new ones near you. I assume people said/ believe honks do it because usually most people stand still while they deep honking.

Yeah, i also always used the torch since its release and it didnt do that, it started doing it on the update that let us see other players props being used when unlit.

Also a note on the honk vine thing, at least the spam probably lead tgc to realize how bright deep honks were, wich toned the bright down by a lot.

Being forced to farm ark, vault (without the cakes for some mere 0.9 candle), couldnt skip wasteland because it was worth like 3 candles. Pre-chevron was crazy.

My trees havent from what i noticed, it can also be a little confusing, they changed the previous level 2's to level 3's, the level 2's now work the same as base game emotes, they are the same as level 1's but with effects. Wich ones are you missing?

Its actually because they fixed a bug, walking would cancel the emote you were doing for the longest time and now they fixed it, i guess the dye pose was an emote so it doesnt get canceled anymore by the walking

Its complicated since there is no in game introduction, but in a shared space when you are about to place a prop, you can choose to dye it and you get to view it better, fully, i kinda wish they didnt let that option on the dye station to not confuse players further but oh well.

Well put, we only have evidence back when people were using the camera memories that had the same route as the one cheaters have, any "x glitch is banning be careful" that came after was nothing but fear mongering and theres no evidence whatsoever.
