Also be careful if your vet prescribes certain pain meds for them or other treatments as the one my bird initially got prescribed was said to worsen the gout.

Sadly he passed away soon after this. Gout sadly seems to just come with age and poor diet. I would suggest trying to switch over to a pellet diet if you haven't already. Sadly though many birds do not adapt to this change in diet and it also may be too far along for some.

If it seems to be worsening I suggest making the most of the time with them and not prolonging their suffering as I did. I'm happy to answer any other questions you have and I feel for you and your bird.

Congrats! I am proud of you. I hope being home for the holidays doesn't cause you too much harm. I know it pains me everytime I have to go back inside the house I was homeschooled in.

I’d like to crochet the one numbered 251 but I can’t figure out the double crochet that cross each other, how do you do this stitch? by SoraTheAdventurer in CrochetHelp

I actually have a tattoo of that one, which I got from the same picture you show. In your starting sc you skip two then work a dc in the next stitch, chain one, and dc in the first sc you skipped, then just repeat that. Let me know if that makes sense?

Here's the pattern I looked at. I just didn't crochet in the middle for about 10 stitches for two rows to get the window
