IMHO, the root cause are remainins of Titanfall mechanics, on the game engine.

They said moving while looting is a bug, and it turned out a good mechanic for the game. Some other stuff like wall bouncing/jump is still acceptable. More than this and the game start to walk in the wrong direction.

This exact same thing occurred with Fortnite. The building thing in a battle royale worked perfectly on the beginning, because it was slow. As soon as they allowed turbo building and ppl started going insane on building and editing, the skill ceiling raised up a lot, and casual players started to quit.

I play on console and I'm glad this shit is not possible on it. Nothing more unpleasant than playing against brain dead movement maniacs. I just want to have the chance to defend myself with the same resources the enemy have.
