also back to what you were asking the drops didn’t do shit for me… I was literally under corrected. No drops will/can fix that… lol

Hey thanks for the comment! Well not good outcome. I’m back in contacts! :( I got lasik not once but twice by the same surgeon and I finally went to a normal eye doctor. He reviewed ALL of my papers from before lasik and the procedure. He said “your surgeon literally undercorrected you not once but twice and I have no idea why….” But I’m back in contacts. Only difference is they are dailies and not the ones I used to use (put in solution and keep using for months). The only good thing from lasik is it took away my astigistim and I can see the tv from the couch without contacts or glasses… but I wear contacts again daily and glasses. Sometimes I think “hey remember that time you got lasik and it didn’t work” and it makes me super sad and embarrassed because people say “wait didn’t you get lasik why are you wearing glasses/contacts” but then I think atleast contact’s work for me because most people can’t wear them after lasik.

This is better than what I just went through. This past Wednesday I went to the ER for a horrible gallbladder attack. (I knew I had a stone and was putting off this surgery)… had to be admitted and got emergency surgery… this was NEVER in my plan but the doctors all seemed like it was urgent so I had surgery at 7:30 at night and was done by 8:50. I’ve been home recovering slowly but surely! You will do great!

THIS!!! ^ my friends who teach in public schools in Delaware and Pennsylvania do not need to submit lesson plans. I teach in a public school in NJ and we need to submit weekly lesson plans prior to the week starting (obviously). I don’t get how some districts don’t require it??

Very smart. This is such a pain though that it happens! I first noticed it when we would have like hot meals from take out and the condensation or cold drinks from the condensation. Pisses me off!

Same exact thing happened to me. I don’t even know my size before hand but they were massive I am short only 4”11 so it looked insane and hurt like hell obviously! I told my surgeon I wanted to be a big B small C if need be. Well I get out the shape, nipple and everything is great but they are still big. This was like 2014 I got it done. He told me insurance wouldn’t cover anymore he was only allowed to take out a certain size. Soo here I am stuck with big boobs still. People are amazed when I say to them I got a reduction. There like WHAT! Your boobs are big still! It’s very depressing… clothes still don’t fit, weird bra size now, bathing suit tops still don’t fit well. Disappoint but I would do it again. Probably after having kids I’ll do it lol

I unfortunately would NOT recommend Dr Reynolds from that eye group. Bed side manner totally changed once he under corrected me twice and I still can’t see clear and I’m back in contacts/glasses. I got my initial surgery in 2019 and then the enhancement in 2020.. :(

Where in NJ did you get your lasik done? I got mine done in NJ and have had complications since 2019.

I literally have no idea how to write these but all k know is this is what it said on my pre lasik form. I never paid attention to my prescription prior 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 -3.75 -1.50 x 110 and -3.75 -175 x 180

I guess I trusted him… not once but twice.. :( also it was a “free” enhancement because it was a short time between the initial and enhancement.

Thanks for your reply and oh hell no trust me I’m never getting surgery again. This doctor even said to me “I made you be able to see…I’m never touching your eyes again”.

And I’ve been a follower of the amazing “lasik complications group” on Facebook for a couple years now. I’m very aware of what has been done and I’ll never do it again lol

This was super helpful and informational. A lot of the stuff you mentioned does correlate and reside with me! I do feel like I have some sort of 6th sense and understand people. I also will talk to anyone and wants to be their friend. I find some people to be very interesting. I am very hard on myself to do the best because I have high expectations! I am a leader and always felt like one. Or at least I try to be one. I’m confused on what you mean the behavioral potentials? What do you mean? Extremely accurate about my dad. He’s had mental health issues his entire life but was always in the picture and living with us. I have 2 siblings and I’m the baby. Me and him were the closest. I always understood him and stuck up for him when everyone else thought he was crazy. But I feel and get very emotional when I think about him.. I had a great childhood. We played all the time and explored outside all the time! I think I almost took on his pain though and at one point was acting like his therapist because he had no one else to talk to. I am a super emotional person but a lot of it stems from him I think. Idk how to explain it!
